FIFA 22: What to do in Ultimate Team this week

With many different tasks and game modes, FIFA 22 Ultimate Team can be a tricky place to prioritise your playtime in.

We have you covered, with this weekly look at all the objectives and SBCs, letting you know what to look out for and where to avoid.

Where possible we will also be highlighting how to combine multiple objectives, to streamline your play.

GET READY FOR FRIDAY - After saving up your packs it will be time to open them all

Monday

Weekend League rewards are available at 2am ET / 7am GMT if you did not complete all your matches.

There are plenty of great Red Picks to choose from after a very nice Team of the Week 18, with Bruno Fernandes, Thomas Muller and Ciro Immobile all 89-rated.

However, the best of the lot may be the 81-rated Jeremiah St. Juste, a ridiculously pacey CB who can gain the stats of an 89-rated player with a Sentinal chemistry style on him.

Team of the Year is bringing us plenty of great content, one of which is getting in a loan TOTY Lionel Messi or Robert Lewandowski - for nothing!

If you haven't already gone to the Team Event in objectives, you can pick between Messi and Lewandowski to gain extra objectives, with the pick granting you a 5-match loan version of the player - obviously, we recommend going for Messi, but it's up to you.

The Mega Management objectives reward you with a 5-match loan version of TOTY Kylian Mbappe (a Mega Pack and Player Packs), which can be completed in any game mode, so make sure you are fulfilling the requirements before they expire on Friday, 4 February.

Then there are the Player Moments Daniele Verde objectives, which also expire on Friday, 4 February, but will need to be completed in the Live FUT Friendly: TOTY Talents.

Look to complete the Verde objectives first, which you can combine with the Mbappe Mega Management ones.

Tuesday

Today is your last chance to bring in Silver Stars Brian Brobbey, so make sure you have completed that.

He isn't the best Silver Stars striker we've had, but you never know how your team may look in the future, and it's still a free player!

With the objectives being able to be completed in less than an hour it's definitely worth doing.

We're also at the final stage to bring in Serie A Player Gregoire Defrel, with the objectives expiring on Wednesday, 26 January, so if you haven't already completed them get them done.

You can use this Serie A Managerial Masterpiece XI to destroy any opposition.

The PL League Player Javier Manquillo objectives will be expiring on Friday, 28 January, so keep in mind that those will also need completing if you haven't already done so.

You can use this Premier League Managerial Masterpiece XI for the objectives, and also complete PL League Player Malang Sarr objectives at the same time!

We've already had TOTY Attackers come and go from packs, and today the TOTY Midfielders will be replaced with TOTY Defenders and TOTY Goalkeeper.

We recommend holding off on opening packs until Friday when the full Ultimate XI should be released.

We could also see a vote for the TOTY 12th Player pop up today, so look out for that at 1pm ET / 6pm GMT.

Wednesday

Team of the Week 19 will arrive on Wednesday, 26 January at 1pm ET / 6pm GMT.

It could be a week for the defenders, with Sergio Ramos and Virgil van Dijk both scoring, so getting themselves in contention for an upgrade.

ALL THE WAY UP - Ramos looks to be heading into the 90s

A new Silver Stars card will also be released, so get that completed and out of the way so you don't have to worry about it for the rest of the week.

Then it will be a day for completing any outstanding objectives for Verde, Mbappe and League Players that we've already mentioned.

Thursday

Division Rivals rewards will be released at 3am ET / 8am GMT on Thursday, 27 January, but aside from that, it will probably be a quiet day for new content.

With the new content that has come to the game and expiring objectives don't forget that Icon Swaps 1: Set 2 objectives are live, so it could be the time to get some more of these completed.

You can save time completing Icon Swaps objectives by following this simple guide to combine tasks where possible.

Friday

Weekend League kicks off at 4am ET / 9am GMT, so make sure you've qualified for that if you plan to enter.

Then it should be a massive day, with Team of the Year expected to enter packs at 1pm ET / 6pm GMT.

Now is the time that you can open all the packs that you've been saving up!

Saturday

If you've qualified for Weekend League then your day will be occupied with that.

Look to be hitting 51 points as a minimum, as the rewards get much better from that stage upwards.

For those not playing Weekend League, this is a great time to really get stuck into the Icon Swaps objectives, as many of them will involve playing Squad Battles.

Sunday

Squad Battle rewards will be available at 3am ET / 8am GMT, and they should be decent if you have been completing the Icon Swaps objectives.

Again, it's another day of Weekend League or Icon Swaps objectives.

There could be another big SBC coming at 1pm ET / 6pm GMT, possibly a TOTY Moments or TOTY Flashback player, so keep an eye on that.

If things are feeling repetitive you can switch it up a bit by completing objectives for PL League Player Malang Sarr.

Live SBCs

There are quite a few Icon cards available at the moment, and we would recommend completing their loan card options, as you can use them infinitely in FUT Friendlies, and they could come in very useful in the future.

To find out all the current Live SBCs, check out our SBC Hub.

Worth completing:

  • Juanmi - A cheap POTM card with great attributes if you're not a skill merchant
  • Dusan Vlahovic - Another cheap POTM card with the base stats of a 91 OVR ST
  • Jesper Karlsson - Could come in useful for any future Eredivise objectives and won't break the bank
