FIFA 22: What to do in Ultimate Team this week

With many different tasks and game modes, FIFA 22 Ultimate Team can be a tricky place to prioritise your playtime in.

We have you covered, with this weekly look at all the objectives and SBCs, letting you know what to look out for and where to avoid.

Where possible we will also be highlighting how to combine multiple objectives, to streamline your play.

CAPTAINS COMING? - After a false start, we could see the FUT Captains promo this week

Monday

Weekend League rewards are available at 2am ET / 7am GMT if you did not complete all your matches.

Team of the Week 22 contained 10 players with an 86 OVR or higher, so there will be plenty of great Red Picks to choose from.

Raheem Sterling is the best of the lot with a 90-rated card, but even if you don't get him the odds are in your favour for another high rated player.

If you haven't been keeping on top of completing player objectives then you could find yourself in a bit of trouble, with a lot now piling up!

The Road to the Final promo was released on Friday, 18 February, and the RTTF Lisandro Martinez objectives that came with it will expire on Thursday, 24 February, so they will be your priority as the earliest to disappear.

Luckily, you can combine his objectives with that of both the Future Stars Academy Players, Trevoh Chalobah and Matheus Nunes (apart from when completing the Managerial Masperpiece section of Chalobah).

It will limit you to playing exclusively in Squad Battles, but you have to do that to complete Nunes anyway, so you may as well stack the objectives up!

This will also help with completing the Year In Review objectives, which require you to play 75 matches in Division Rivals and/or Squad Battles to unlock all the packs.

When you get to the 85 OVR version of Trevoh Chalobah you can combine his objectives with PL League Player Malang Sarr (if you are yet to complete them), as both need doing in the Live FUT Friendly: Managerial Masterpiece.

Trevoh Chalobah is well worth completing, as you can see from our player review on him.

We will get to the other objective players in a bit, as the big drop on Monday will be Icon Swaps 2.

We know the sort of objectives we will be getting, and the rewards have already been leaked too!

Tuesday

Today is your last chance to bring in Silver Stars Branimir Hrgota, so make sure you have completed that.

He is not the best around, but still, it's a free card that links with other Bundesliga Silver Stars releases, and with the objectives being able to be completed in less than an hour it's definitely worth doing.

This week you will be rewarded with a Future Stars Token as well as the Silver Stars player.

If you have completed the RTTF Martinez objectives then you can look to hit up the Future Stars Amine Gouiri and Future Stars Samuel Chukwueze objective sets, as they are the next ones to expire on Thursday, 3 March.

Annoyingly, you aren't able to combine their objectives with each other or any other cards, as they have a new unique FUT Friendly to compete for them in.

Wednesday

Team of the Week 23 will arrive on Wednesday, 23 February at 1pm ET / 6pm GMT.

It will have a lot to live up to after a very good TOTW 22, but it could well surpass that release!

UNPLAYABLE - Even Ruben Dias could not handle Kane

Both Harry Kane and Karim Benzema are in line for a 92 OVR card, with Jadon Sancho, Marco Reus, Christopher Nkunku and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang also contenders for a high rated inclusion.

A new Silver Stars card will also be released, so get that completed and out of the way so you don't have to worry about it for the rest of the week.

Then you can look to get on with any player objectives that you have outstanding, preferably while playing some Division Rivals and Squad Battles to work towards the Year In Review rewards.

Thursday

Division Rivals rewards will be released at 3am ET / 8am GMT on Thursday, 24 February, but aside from that, it will probably be a quiet day for new content.

If you've amassed some packs you may want to break them all open now, with the Road to the Final cards rotating out on Friday, 25 February at 1pm ET / 6pm GMT.

There are so many player objectives out at the moment, make sure you don't overlook the new Bundesliga League Player Erik Thommy ones.

You have until Saturday, 19 March until they expire, so they shouldn't be top of your to-do list just yet, but don't leave them until the last minute either.

You can use this Bundesliga Managerial Masterpiece squad to smash through the requirements.

Friday

Weekend League kicks off at 4am ET / 9am GMT, so make sure you've qualified for that if you plan to enter.

There has been no word on what the next promo will be just yet, with Road to the Final slipping by many leakers, but it could be that we see FUT Captains join the party on Friday, 25 February at 1pm ET / 6pm GMT.

This would be a totally new promo revolving around FUT Heroes, which when leaked was set to be released last week.

As a new promo, we're not entirely sure what to expect, but we should see more brilliant players entering packs, new objectives and SBCs too, as with most other events.

Saturday

If you've qualified for Weekend League then your day will be occupied with that.

Look to be hitting 51 points as a minimum, as the rewards get much better from that stage upwards.

If you've not entered, then completing objective players and amassing Squad Battles/Division Rivals games for the Year In Review objectives will be your goal.

If you've worked through all the objective players, then focus on completing all the new Icon Swaps objectives as quick as you can, so you're always ready to get on the next release.

Sunday

Squad Battle rewards will be available at 3am ET / 8am GMT, which could be quite good if you've been playing them for the Year In Review objectives and Icon Swaps.

Again, it will be another day of Weekend League or player objectives and Icon Swaps.

Live SBCs

There are quite a few Icon cards available at the moment, and we would recommend completing their loan card options, as you can use them infinitely in FUT Friendlies, and they could come in very useful in the future.

To find out all the current Live SBCs, check out our SBC Hub.

Worth completing:

  • Orkun Kokcu - A cheap player to fill out your Eredivise side
  • Paolo Maldini (loan) - Gets you a Future Stars Swaps Token, plus Maldini on loan
  • Giacomo Raspadori - Super cheap for a player with the base stats of an 86 OVR
  • David De Gea - Cheap fix if you're in need of a top Premier League goalkeeper
  • Neymar Jr. - One of the best value SBCs for a top-rated card
  • Thomas Muller - Just the one 84-rated squad needed for a 91 OVR player
  • Mesut Ozil - Not the best links but another top player with cheap requirements
