Latest news - Black Friday coming soon!

The Black Friday promo is on its way in FUT 22 very soon!

The official Black Friday arrives on Friday, 26 November, so we are sure to see something arrive on this date.

EA could potentially start the event in Ultimate Team sooner than that, perhaps on Friday, 19 November.

This would likely mean that the Black Friday promo would last for two weeks, so EA could even introduce a cool new card concept for this year's event!

What are Featured TOTW items?

EA has created the Featured TOTW item in order to not let performance-based items, such as Team of the Week cards, fall behind the ratings of items released as part of promos that arrive later in the game cycle.

Instead of a standard TOTW boost, Featured TOTW Items will be given a larger boost, increasing their appeal in squad building.

At launch, to be eligible for a Featured TOTW Item, a player’s highest-rated base or performance-based item must be rated 80 OVR or below and they must not have an active Live Item.

In addition, any future performance-based items these players earn will build off of this boosted rating.

The star icon above the overall rating on the Featured TOTW item will visually distinguish Featured TOTW items from standard TOTW items.

It is important to note that Featured TOTW items will still function as regular TOTW items do across various aspects of FUT including in SBCs, Squad Requirements, Mode Rewards, Objective Requirements and packs.
