FIFA 22 Ultimate Team already has Icon Swaps, Winter Wildcards is the new promo, so why not combine them and make Winter Wildcards Swaps!
Just like with Icon Swaps, you can use the tokens in Squad Building Challenges to gain greater rewards.

Latest - More tokens available?
There was some confusion around the amount of Wildcards Tokens available, not helped by EA's wording:
Throughout the Winter Wildcards campaign you will have the opportunity to earn Wildcard Tokens. 24 Wildcard Tokens will be made available across various Squad Building Challenges and Objectives, plus one additional token will be offered in a pack in the FUT Store.
The important part to note is "plus one additional token", meaning that there are 25 Wildcard Tokens available in total.
This may change your plans for how to split them up to get the best rewards.
Winter Wildcards
Winter Wildcards is the latest promo in Ultimate Team, which came once the FUT Versus event had finished.
The leaks about who may feature in the event, and the consensus is that we will be seeing player position changes as we did during FUT Freeze in FIFA 21, proved true.
As well as a nice boost to their cards, players have been seen in unfamiliar positions, with upgrades to their ratings to match the new role, as well as some gaining upgrades to their weak-foot or skill-move ratings.
Launching in FUT on Friday, 17 December, at 1pm ET / 6pm GMT, new players are available in packs, as well as via objectives and SBCs.
Swaps Release Date
As 'predicted' by @FUTZONECENTRAL, the Winter Wildcards Swaps will begin on Sunday, 26 December.
We are yet to see an expiry date for these just yet, but we would expect a decent amount of time to complete all the objectives.
There will be a total of 24 tokens to earn, plus an additional token (25 in all), which you obtain through completing objectives and daily SBCs.
Token Rewards
The 25 tokens can be traded in via SBCs to earn additional rewards in the Winter Wildcards swap system.
Two players will be available to redeem, with Leicester's Patson Daka an awesome new card to use.
Freiburg left-back Christian Gunter is the other player available, for only 8 tokens.
There are some high-value packs on offer too, with an Ultimate Pack redeemable after just 5 tokens!
