FIFA 23 - Adeyemi handed MASSIVE pace upgrade

Another ratings update has come to FIFA 23, with more upgrades and downgrades rolled out to keep the players in line with current form.

Although some players haven't seen their overall rating increase, some very important stats have been bumped up.

One of those has come to Karim Adeyemi and sees a big change in the fastest player chart in FIFA 23!

Dortmund managed to get a 1-0 win in the first leg, thanks to the extraordinary speed of youngster Karim Adeyemi, who put new Blues signing Enzo Fernandez in the mud!

The German forward says his pace comes from eating the Nigerian food fufu and his Nigerian dad's good genes, and this explosive speed won't have come as a surprise to FIFA 23 aficionados...

Pace Upgrade

The latest ratings update was rolled out in FIFA 23 on Monday, 13 February, two days before the wider world witnessed Adeymei's insane movement, with EA already knowing they had a special player on their hands.

In a match that saw Sebastien Haller score his first competitive goal for Dortmund since recovering from testicular cancer, their 5-1 victory over Freiburg also contained a new all-time Bundesliga speed record, with Adeyemi hitting 22.77 mph!

That happened on Saturday, 4 February, which gave EA time to mull over how big an upgrade was warranted for the achievement.

They decided to increase Adyemi's sprint speed massively, from 91 to 96!

Fastest FIFA 23 Players

Kylian Mbappe still sits top of the table for the fastest players in FIFA 23, with 97 PAC, however, he has some new competition!

Due to the latest upgrade, Adeyemi is now the second-fastest player in the game, with 96 PAC gained from having 95 Acceleration and 96 Sprint Speed.

At only 20 years old and with a potential of 86 OVR, the German would make a brilliant Career Mode signing - and has a relatively low value of £10.8m as his current rating is just 75 OVR.
