FIFA 23 Angel Di Maria SBC: How to unlock the FIRST Ones to Watch player

It is nearly time for the Ones to Watch promo to get underway in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, bringing plenty of live cards to the game.

There should be plenty of new content released during a bumper one-week event, with Angel Di Maria the first to take centre stage.

SBC Requirements

There are two squads needed to submit to unlock the 84-rated card, with the requirements as follows:

Tactical Emulation

• Minimum one Juventus player
• Minimum 83 Squad Rating

Reward - 1 x Small Electrum Players Pack

Serie A

• Minimum one Serie A player
• Minimum 84 Squad Rating

Reward - 1 x Small Gold Players Pack

The requirements are as follows:

Worth it?

We believe Di Maria will earn at least two upgrades before Christmas, but 26k at the very start of the season is quite a lot to put into this card.

Juventus will be expected to win at least three of their next eight matches, earning his first upgrade to 86 OVR.

The new Nations to Watch upgrade offers a great opportunity too, and with games against Saudi Arabia, Poland, and Mexico, it will be a major shock if Argentina doesn't win at least one match at the World Cup.

This means an 87 OVR is almost guaranteed before Christmas, and that is discounting any appearance Di Maria may make in a Team of the Week squad.
