FIFA 23 Chemistry: New Update makes squad building EASIER than ever

FIFA 23 is just around the corner, with brand new features confirmed for some of the flagship modes.

Chemistry has already seen a major overhaul, but recent changes by EA have altered the feature further, with squad building even easier than before.

Check below for everything you need to know about the FIFA 23 chemistry changes.

FIFA 23 Chemistry

In the FIFA 23 Ulitmate Team reveal, EA announced major changes coming to chemistry, with an updated system introduced.

The main changes announced were:

  • No negative impact on attributes caused by low chemistry.
  • Overall squad chemistry has been removed. Individual player chemistry is the focus.
  • Positional links have been removed.
  • The Loyalty system has been removed.

Now, after some feedback from the community and some reworking before launch, EA has confirmed the full changes coming to chemistry in FIFA 23, with the possibility of building a dream 11 arguably more attainable than ever before.

Chemistry Update

The confirmed changes - provided in EA's pitch notes - will now see:

  • 2 players from the same nation get a chemistry point (Previously 3)
  • 4 players from the same club to get 2 chemistry points (Previously 5)

These small adjustments will ultimately make it easier for players to create their dream teams in Ulitmate Team and not worry too much about the chemistry ramifications.

EA has also announced that chemistry styles will continue to allow you to boost certain player attributes, with the increased variable depending on the player's chemistry within the team.

A helpful guide detailing the changes and effects of chemistry styles can be found in the Pitch Notes.

Ea has also confirmed that once a FUT match has started, any changes made via team management to formations, tactics or player positions will not affect the Chemistry of your Starting XI players.

These changes have been made in order to make squad building even easier in FIFA 23, with the possibilities and combinations now seemingly endless.
