FIFA 23 CONMEBOL TOTS: Release Date & Predictions

Whilst the 2022/23 domestic campaigns across Europe are drawing to a close, the South American leagues are just kicking off, which means the CONMEBOL TOTS will be formulated slightly differently from the rest.

The top performers from the opening rounds of South America's premier football leagues will be selected for the FIFA 23 CONMEBOL Team of the Season (TOTS) squad.

Whilst it may not be the most hotly anticipated Team of the Season squad among FUT players, some awesome cards will emerge from the CONMEBOL group.

So, which players will make the FIFA 23 CONMEBOL TOTS? Take a look at our full CONMEBOL TOTS predictions below and find out when the squad will be released in Ultimate Team.

CONMEBOL TOTS Release Date

While there is no official start date just yet for the Team of the Season event in FIFA 23, we do have a good idea of what to expect and when based on what has been released in previous editions of the game.

The CONMEBOL TOTS is likely to be one of the last releases of the event, allowing the season to play through as much as possible.

With this in mind, Tuesday, 23 May seems a likely date for the CONMEBOL release.

Before the full Team of the Season event arrives, we should see the TOTS Warmup Series begin on Friday, 21 April. This pre-event promo will offer players the chance to stock up on some high-value packs by completing objectives and SBCs.

The Team of the Season action should then begin the following week with the arrival of the Community TOTS, and then Premier League TOTS squads. Just like most releases, all the new items will be available in packs from 1pm ET / 6pm BST on the day of release.

GK - Franco Armani (OVR 92)

With nine clean sheets in twelve league matches so far this season, goalkeeper Franco Armani will surely claim the number one shirt in the CONMEBOL TOTS this year.

The Argentine 'keeper already has an in-form item to his name in FUT 23 and is set for a huge boost to 92 OVR this time around.

RB - Leonardo Godoy (OVR 90)

When it comes to the right-back position, Argentine defender Leonardo Godoy is the clear leading candidate right now.

The 27-year-old already has one goal and one assist to his name in nine league appearances so far during the 2023/24 domestic campaign.

CB - Marcos Rojo (OVR 93)

Former Manchester United centre-back Marcos Rojo is loving life back in Argentina and will likely make the FIFA 23 TOTS squad.

The 33-year-old has taken all of his experience in England and is now playing with supreme confidence and class for Boca Juniors.

CB - Diego Godin (OVR 94)

Another player with years of experience in Europe is former Atletico Madrid and Uruguay legend, defender Diego Godin.

The now 37-year-old is still one of the best central defenders in the league and could be given the highest-rated card of any CONMEBOL TOTS player.

LB - Frank Fabra (OVR 89)

Boca Juniors full-back Frank Fabra is a strong favourite for the left-back role in the CONMEBOL Team of the Season starting XI.

Despite being 32 years of age, the Colombian is still absolutely rapid and could be given a fantastic 89 OVR TOTS card this year.

CDM - Enzo Perez (OVR 91)

Now 37 years of age, veteran central midfielder Enzo Perez is still consistently brilliant for River Plate.

Perez provides the perfect screen and defensive stability for River Plate's back four and cuts through defensive blocks with his direct passing.

CAM - Juan Fernando Quintero (OVR 89)

Colombian centre-mid Juan Fernando Quintero is a shoo-in for the CONMEBOL Team of the Season starting XI.

The 30-year-old attacking midfielder is the heartbeat of the Atletico Junior team and is attracting interest from European clubs now too.

CM - Nicolas de la Cruz (OVR 90)

Uruguayan playmaker Nicolas de la Cruz is consistently one of the best midfielders in the division and will surely make the TOTS once again.

The centre-mid could be handed a 90 OVR Team of the Season item that will no doubt be one of the most sought-after among the CONMEBOL players.

RW - Francisco Pizzini (OVR 92)

Francisco Pizzini is the first of two Club Atletico Talleres forwards that makes it into our CONMEBOL Team of the Season attack.

Off the back of a fantastic 2022/23 campaign, the right-winger has already registered three goals and two assists during the start of the new season.

LW - Sebastian Villa (OVR 90)

26-year-old Colombian winger Sebastian Villa could be one of the most popular selections from the South American league TOTS squad.

The rapid forward could be rewarded with a 90 OVR item that boasts 99 Pace, 93 Dribbling and 87 Passing.

ST - Michael Santos (OVR 91)

Uruguayan international forward Michael Santos has made an excellent start to the 2022/23 campaign and is more than deserving of a spot in the starting XI.

The 30-year-old has scored five goals and provided three assists in just 12 appearances so far this term.
