Starting XI
We expect Gareth Southgate to make a few changes from the drab 0-0 draw with the USA in England's previous match.
Wales prefers to play with five at the back, so Southgate could look to match them up with a back three of his own.
This could mean the first start of the tournament for a fit-again Kyle Walker, with Trent Alexander-Arnold coming into the side for struggling Kieran Tripper.
Declan Rice and Jude Bellingham will likely start together again in midfield, a duo that looks set to stay for years to come for the Three Lions.
Jack Grealish was dangerous when he was introduced in the last match, and the front three could see some rotation.
Captain Harry Kane will almost definitely start, but we have opted for Grealish and Foden on either side of him, giving both Raheem Sterling and Bukayo Saka a rest.
End to end
A terrific start for England, and a goal from an unlikely source too!
West Ham star Declan Rice cut through the Welsh defence like a hot knife through butter, before firing into the bottom corner.
In a game in which England needs to avoid a heavy defeat to secure qualification, an early goal will certainly put any concerns to one side.
However, the early lead was short-lived as Wales hit back through giant striker Kieffer Moore.
With England's back three at sixes and sevens, Moore found himself with acres of space, slamming the ball past Jordan Pickford in the England goal.
Captain Kane
Any signs of England imploding were nullified by none other than their captain, Harry Kane.
Yet to score in Qatar, Kane made no mistake when slipped through one on one with the goalkeeper to make the score 2-1 to England.
Minutes later, Kane nearly doubled his tally and England's lead.
A good cross from Luke Shaw found Kane, but he saw his effort well blocked by former Spurs teammate Joe Rodon.
Onslaught
With the score still 2-1, England produced an onslaught at the start of the second half, penning Wales inside their own half.
Danny Ward, in the side in place of the suspended Wayne Hennessey, was the only man stopping England from increasing their advantage.
Kane, Rice, Grealish, and Bellingham all saw shots saved, while a procession of corners also threatened the Welsh goal.
Foden also came close, forcing Ward into an incredible diving save.
Ward's one-man resistance could not hold out forever though, and it was Kane who put the game to bed, although Ward may feel he should have done better!
Verdict
If England can replicate the intensity they showed in this World Cup simulation, then fans will be much happier!
With a total of 17 shots, England showed much more attacking intent than they did against the USA.
If Harry Kane can find his shooting boots too, things really could be looking good for Gareth Southgate's men.
