Fantasy FUT is leaked to take over from the current Showdown Series promo in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, bringing another set of live cards to the game.
It's already a fan-favourite event thanks to the way in which cards can earn their upgrades, and it's about to become even more popular!

Fantasy FUT Heroes
Leaker supreme Fut Sheriff has revealed one of the biggest scoops of the year so far, announcing that FUT Heroes will be included in the Fantasy FUT promo!
It won't just be the usual one-off boost the selected cards gain either, with the Hero versions set to gain live upgrades too.
This will create some of the best and highest-rated cards we have seen in Ultimate Team this season, so get saving your packs!
Upgrades Explained
Live cards coming for retired players may not make sense at first, but thankfully, Fut Sheriff not only revealed the concept but also how it will work in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team.
The example he gives is Yaya Toure, who earned his FUT Hero card for his time spent at Manchester City.
This means his upgrades will be linked with City's real-life performances.
The upgrades are said to be as follows:
- +1 OVR if the club gets one win in their next six league games
- +1 OVR and +3 new Traits if the club avoids defeat in their next six league games
Only league games starting from Friday, 17 March will be counted towards the boosts, coming once both Fantasy FUT teams have been released and on the day Team 2 will rotate out of packs.
Predicted Fantasy FUT Heroes
Not all FUT Heroes will gain a Fantasy FUT version in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, so we're taking a look at the likely candidates.
We expect that the players selected will be heavily linked with just one club, such as Ledley King and Tottenham, which makes narrowing down possible players slightly easier.
It is also less likely that players who gained a World Cup Hero version will be given a Fantasy FUT upgrade too, although we think that a few players will.
