FIFA 23 Icons: Brazilian SENSATION REMOVED due to 'contractual issues'

The news for FIFA 23 is starting to come in as we get ready for the upcoming game.

A title change to EA Sports FC will happen next year, with EA and FIFA parting ways, but for now, things will remain consistent.

That means Icons will be populating Ultimate Team once again, so check out all the latest news and rumours surrounding the powerful cards below, including a leak that indicates a certain Brazilian star will NOT be added to this year's game.

Zico Removed

Prolific Ultimate Team leaker FUTSheriff has taken to Twitter to reveal that rumoured FIFA 23 Icon Zico will not be arriving in the game.

Sheriff has claimed that the removal of Zico is due to "contractual disputes", with the former Brazil sensation once leaked to be a new Icon in this year's game.

There has been some confusion regarding Zico's arrival in FIFA 23, but this most recent leak indicates that one of Brazil's finest exports will have to wait a little longer to become an Ultimate Team Icon.

Robben and Villa LEAKED

It's not all bad news, with both Alfredo Di Stefano and David Villa reportedly being added to the game code ahead of FIFA 23.

With Villa reportedly having been added to the code a few months back, we're not surprised to see the Spain, Barcelona, and Valencia legend finally leaked as one of FIFA 23's newest Icons.

Dutch winger Arjen Robben has also been leaked to arrive next season, and his potential cards could be sensational.

Another legendary forward has also been leaked in the form of Gabriel Batistuta, although there is uncertainty as to whether he will be an Icon or a Hero player.
