MBAPPE TIME - The French national team will shine in eFootball

The deal has been described 'multi-year' and will see the French national team integrated into eFootball.

Konami has been promising the integration of national teams for some time, and the announcement of securing the World Cup winners will certainly create some buzz.

FIFA 23 Inclusion

The good news for FIFA 23 fans is that the French national team will still remain a part of the FIFA 23 roster, but it remains to be seen if the side will feature in EA Sports FC moving forward.

This announcement is the latest in a series of blows to EA's licensing portfolio, with sides like Inter and AC Milan moving on, as well as the entire Mexican league departing FIFA and joining eFootball.

Whilst EA will be content with the return of Italian giants Juventus, they will no doubt be looking over their shoulders as Konami muscle in on securing some top national sides.
