Lionel Messi Leaked

Team of the Week 18 promises to bring a host of brand new and exciting cards to FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, with none no more valuable than this man.

According to FIFATradingRomania on Twitter, Lionel Messi has been leaked to arrive in FIFA 23 this week as part of Team of the Week 18.

In a week in which Messi was voted the best player in the world by FIFA, and put in a stunning display as PSG ran out 3-0 winners at title rivals Marseille, it's no surprise that the Argentina superstar has been handed this upgrade.

Messi's lack of pace in FIFA 23 has seen his stock dwindle somewhat this year, but there's no doubt that the PSG magician is more than good enough to cause players nightmares with this boost.

Worthy Upgrade

It's been quite the week for Lionel Messi, with the World Cup winner being awarded best male player at the 2023 FIFA awards.

Messi received yet another accolade to add to his ever-growing trophy cabinet, with the former Barcelona superstar proving that he's still got it.

Appropriately, Messi also rolled back the years for PSG at the weekend, scoring and assisting in a win for the French giants as they closed in on yet another Ligue 1 title.

TOTW 18 Release Date & Time

The Team of the Week 18 squad in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team will be released on Wednesday, 1 March, at the usual time of 1pm ET / 6pm GMT.

As ever, the new cards will be available in packs for one week only from when they are released.

They will join the Showdown Series' Rivalary Re-Release promo cards in packs for a few days only, before they rotate out on Friday, 3 March, with Fantasy FUT items leaked to replace them!
