Prolific leaker FUTSheriff has taken to Twitter to announce brand new perks coming to the pre-order editions of FIFA 23, with a little extra new info slipped in.
The Ultimate Edition Pre-order bonus has been leaked to include a 'World Cup FUT Heroes player'.
This is the first we're hearing about World Cup Heroes, with this concept only being banded around as speculation.
With a brand new player type arriving in FIFA 23, we could be about to see some of the biggest and best World Cup stars return to Ultimate Team for the first time in many years.
What are FUT Heroes?
FUT Heroes are similar to Icons, although slightly inferior, as they would not have a green link with all for greater chemistry.
They are like minor Icons, with decent stats, but a notch below the best cards in the game.
On top of that, FUT Heroes have unique league-specific chemistry tied to their hero moment, which allows a green Club link to any player within the same league, on top of the usual nation link.
