The FIFA 23 ratings always cause a stir at the beginning of the year, with many players arguing that X should be rated higher than Y, and so on and so forth.

However, with a few months gone of the Premier League season, we can now reveal five stars that have been grossly underrated in FIFA 23.

All of these players have defied EA Sports and will surely be due an upgrade in January.

These five stars are certainly due an upgrade, and it may not be long until they got one!

Miguel Almiron

Almiron has been one of the best players in the Premier League this season, and that's not a sentence we thought we'd ever be uttering.

The Newcastle winger has proven himself to be a true magician, with his goals and assists firing the Toon into the top four.

Only rated 78 at the beginning of the year, this Paraguay forward has quickly received love from the footballing world, being handed a mightily impressive Player of the Month boost following a scintillating start to the season.

Ivan Toney

Ivan Toney missed out on a spot in the England World Cup squad and that feels like a true crime, with the Brentford forward showing himself to be one of the best poachers in the league.

A pure striker who can also link play beautifully, Toney has scored goals for fun this season, bagging a hattrick against Leeds and helping Brentford to a last-gasp win at the Etihad.

Toney was handed a 77 OVR dud at the start of FIFA 23, and I think we can all agree he deserves to be at least in the 80s.

William Saliba

Arsenal has shocked a lot of people so far this season, currently sitting above champions Manchester City.

Whilst plenty of Gunners players were cruelly underrated at the start of FIFA 23, Saliba felt like the most offensive.

The young French defender was only rated 80 at the start of this year's game, but we can foresee a major boost in the future for this breakout star.

Leandro Trossard

Leandro Trossard - much like Brighton themselves - continues to defy the odds and prove to everyone that they are here to stay.

Trossard has scored some huge goals this season, including a hattrick at Anfield, leading to this Belgian star finally receiving the plaudits he deserves.

A megastar who is flying with the Seagulls, Trossard is more than deserving of a major boost in January.

Crysencio Summerville

Leeds United are a truly mad side this season, using vibes as their defensive strategy and pure pace as an attacking mindset.

They are the optimisation of a FIFA team and winger Crysencio Summerville has been their breakout star.

Rated only 69 at the start of FIFA 23, this Dutch winger is more than deserving of a mega boost, with Leed's rising star certain to be pivotal to the Yorkshire side's survival hopes.
