FIFA 23 - Score EVERY SINGLE TIME from this new kick-off routine

Each year there seem to be some incredibly overpowered methods for creating goal-scoring opportunities from dead-ball scenarios and FIFA 23 is no different.

We've already seen some incredible corner routines take over Ultimate Team, and now it's time for a throwback to FIFA 14 with a ridiculously OP kick-off routine.

Read on to find out how you can score from the centre spot nearly every single time in FIFA 23.

Flawless routine

The beauty of this new kick-off routine is in its simplicity.

All it takes is three passes and you will be through one on one against the goalkeeper.

Here's how it's done:

  • From the centre spot, pass the ball back to the player on the edge of the centre circle.
  • Hold the ball with this player for a few seconds.
  • You may want to pass back to a deeper player in order to drag the pressing player away from the central midfielder, or just beat the defensive player with skill.
  • Then play an over-the-top driven through-ball to the striker who has made a run beyond the opponent's defensive line.
  • Now, it's all down to you - choose the best shot for the 1v1 and finish your dinner.

The runs that your striker makes will depend on your formation and also your attacking instructions.

If your number nine does not make a direct run through the centrebacks, try switching to 'Forward Runs' in the attacking tactics.

Demo

For the visual learners among you, we've got a demo for you to take a look at, brought to us by a certain FUT player on Reddit.

Watch the video below to see the kick-off routine in action.

As you can see from the video above, it's essential that the over-the-top pass is a driven-through ball.

If your pass is not driven it will be easily cut out by the centre-halves before it reaches the striker's feet in front of goal.
