The Team of the Season (TOTS) promo is underway in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, the main promo of the whole campaign for many FUT fans!

Massive upgrades will be handed out to the best-performing players from all the top leagues, with huge cards on the way.

Latest - Premier League & EFL Squads go LIVE

One of, if not the most, anticipated Team of the Season squads is now live in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, with the Premier League TOTS now in packs!

Manchester City trio Erling Haaland, Kevin De Bruyne and Ruben Dias sit at the top of the ratings, with a 96 OVR also handed out to Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah.

Raphael Varane has picked up a TOTS Moments item and is one of the best cards from the release.

The EFL TOTS side joined packs a couple of days after the Prem release, with more stacked players up for grabs.

Chuba Akpom is the pick of the bunch, with the Middlesbrough CAM handed a 94 OVR card with insane stats, meaning he is currently selling for around 800,000 coins!

Watford's Joao Pedro follows closely behind, again with fantastic stats, sporting 96 PAC, 90 SHO and 93 DRI.

Team of the Season

Each year, EA celebrates the best-performing players from leagues around the world during the Team of the Season promo in Ultimate Team.

Full squads from the major leagues and smaller squads from various others are released, all containing players with huge ratings.

BEST OF THE BEST - The Ultimate TOTS side showcases the worlds top talents

The event runs over multiple weeks to account for all the squads that need releasing, with one main league joined by one or two minor ones each week, culminating with the Ultimate TOTS side!

There will be plenty of SBC and Objective items too, with Team of the Season Moments added, and Campaign Icons and FUT Heroes will surely get involved too.

TOTS Release Date

The TOTS Warm Up Series took over from the Trophy Titans campaign on Friday, 21 April, leading us into the start of the main Team of the Season campaign.

The vote for the Community TOTS squad opened on Monday, 10 April, with the top leagues scheduled over the next few weeks, before the Community team hit packs on Friday, 28 April.

TOTS cards were released into packs at 1pm ET / 6pm BST on the day of release, with the Community squad joined by the Eredivisie TOTS side and some TOTS Moments cards.

TOTS Voting Schedule

EA has announced the TOTS voting schedule for most of the major leagues, with the key dates as follows:

  • Community TOTS - Monday, 10 April - Thursday, 13 April
  • Premier League TOTS - Monday, 17 April - Thursday, 20 April
  • Bundesliga TOTS - Tuesday, 25 April - Friday, 28 April
  • LaLiga TOTS - Monday, 1 May - Friday, 5 May
  • Serie A TOTS - Monday, 15 May - Thursday, 18 May

TOTS Release Schedule

Although it hasn't been made fully official by EA, based on the FUT Champions rewards schedule and previous leaks, the predicted release schedule for each TOTS squad is as follows:

Throughout the campaign TOTS Moments items will be released in packs, via Objectives and SBCs, with the revamped TOTS Swaps System running throughout the event too.

How to Vote

The voting process for the FIFA 23 TOTS is the same as that of FIFA 22.

All you need to do is follow these simple steps:

  • Head over to the FIFA 23 TOTS portal for the specific squad (e.g. Premier League TOTS)
  • You will be greeted by all the nominees
  • Simply drag and drop the cards you’d like to vote for into your team of XI
  • Once your team is complete, click submit

You can vote multiple times so give your favourite players a push and see if they’ll be rewarded with that special TOTS card.

Predictions

There will be some stiff competition for who makes the Ultimate TOTS side, although we think the forwards are locked-in!

World Cup and Ballon d'Or winner Lionel Messi, King of Paris Kylian Mbappe and goalscoring machine Erling Haaland will surely gain the starting three, with red-hot Victor Osimhen also included.

The other positions aren't as easy to pick, however, we expect to see Luka Modric, Kevin De Bruyne and Martin Odegaard feature in midfield.

So far, all of the leaks we've spotted for Team of the Season have made their way into FIFA 23 Ultimate Team!

As we've come to expect, the leakers have been spot on with the players included, although their stat predictions could do with a bit of work.
