Check below to find out the new players that will feature in FIFA 23.
FOUR Heroes Confirmed
EA Sports and Marvel Entertainment have both taken to Twitter to confirm four new FUT Heroes arriving in FIFA 23.
Lucio, Diego Forlan, Javier Mascherano and Rafael Marquez have all been confirmed to receive heroic boosts in FIFA 23, with these stars set to feature heavily in the World Cup DLC for Ultimate Team.
The stars were revealed as part of EA and Marvel's newly formed partnership, in which specific stars will gain special items with illustrated card images, designed by Marvel.
Each Hero has been assigned their very own superhero name, with the likes of 'The Thunder' and 'Sunstrike' joining the ranks following yesterday's reveals.
EA x Marvel
EA and Marvel Entertainment have announced a collaboration to bring a new cast of FIFA Ultimate Team Heroes to FIFA 23, reimagined and inspired by Marvel Comics.
This collaboration between two of the world’s largest entertainment brands will bring some of the game’s fan favourites to the game and celebrate their larger-than-life cult hero status alongside the amazing artists at Marvel
Each FIFA World Cup FUT Hero will receive a special illustrated FUT item at the launch of the World Cup game mode, with base versions of FUT Heroes being available at the launch of FIFA 23.
Stars like Yaya Toure, Landon Donovan and Ricardo Carvalho have all received special illustrated cards, with more set to be revealed soon.
What are FUT Heroes?
FUT Heroes are similar to Icons, although slightly inferior, as they would not have a green link with all for greater chemistry.
They are like minor Icons, with decent stats, but a notch below the best cards in the game.
On top of that, FUT Heroes have unique league-specific chemistry tied to their hero moment, which allows a green Club link to any player within the same league, on top of the usual nation link.
