The Team of the Year (TOTY) promo is set to hit FIFA 23 in a matter of days, with the official XI now having been revealed.
Two fresh cards will be introduced to Ultimate Team during the promo, and something seriously special looks to be on its way!
The names given to the cards are 'TOTY Icon' and 'Alternate Reality Icon'.

What are TOTY Icons?
To celebrate some of the greatest players to play the world’s game, select FUT 23 Icons who would have been considered for the prestigious Team of The Year award in past years will receive brand new TOTY Icon items.
14 giants of the game will be honoured with boosted ratings in Ultimate Team, including the following:

- Andrea Pirlo
- Ashley Cole
- Claude Makélélé
- David Beckham
- Edwin van der Sar
- Gerd Muller
- Hugo Sánchez
- Javier Zanetti
- Nemanja Vidić
- Robert Pirès

- Xabi Alonso
TOTY Icons release date
We now have confirmation that TOTY Icon items will start to be released into FUT 23 on Friday, 20 January.
We expect the TOTY Icons to hit FIFA at the usual time of 1pm ET / 6pm GMT.
