FIFA 23 Wolves Ratings: Portuguese SUPERSTARS set to dominate once again

FIFA 23 is just around the corner, and it won't be long until we get our first look at some of the brand-new ratings for each team.

Check below to see our predictions for how Wolverhampton Wanderers could look in this year's game.

Top Players

Wolves enjoyed another decent season in the Premier League last season, with Bruno Lage performing well in his first season as Wolves boss.

Whilst goals were hard to come by, Wolves have established themselves as a consistent Premier League side and their Portuguese connections are once again set to shine in FIFA 23.

There are some exciting talents in this squad, with late moves in the transfer market set to make them even better.

Ruben Neves

Ruben Neves is a joy to watch, with his unrivalled passing ability making him one of the very best in the league.

In a way, we're surprised that Neves hasn't moved on to a bigger club this summer, but Wolves fans certainly won't be complaining.

MIDFIELD MAESTRO - Ruben Neves is Wolves' standout star

A dominating midfielder with a great range of physical attributes, we think Neves will retain his 82 OVR rating in FIFA 23.

Raul Jimenez

There's no denying that Raul Jimenez hasn't quite found his form in recent times, hence why we've given him a downgrade ahead of this year's game.

DANGER MAN - Jimenez could be downgraded in FIFA 23

That being said, the Mexican poacher is still a real threat, and his ability in front of goal could still see him become one of Wolves' top performing stars this season.

Jose Sa

Jose Sa didn't arrive in the Premier League with a lot of hype, but he certainly showed himself to be one of the better goalkeepers in the division.

Sporting CP midfielder Matheus Nunes is reportedly close to making the switch to Wolverhampton, with a club-record fee already agreed.

With Nathan Collins arriving to bolster the defensive ranks, Wolves could once again boast an incredibly well-rounded side in FIFA 23.

Upgrades

With Wolves having a very similar season to the year prior, we're not expecting to see too many upgrades for Bruno Lage's side.

That being said, defender Max Kilman is almost certainly going to receive an upgrade this year, with the English defender doing more than enough to be given a gold card in FIFA 23.

SURPRISE PACKAGE - Max Kilman has been a star for Wolves

Away from Kilman, we are expecting an upgrade for 'keeper Jose Sa, but upgrades elsewhere look unlikely.

Downgrades

With Wolves remaining much the same, we're also not foreseeing many downgrades.

Striker Raul Jimenez will almost certainly be downgraded from last year's 83 OVR, with RWB Nelson Semedo also set for a very small decrease.

SLIGHT BUFF - Nelson Semedo could be downgraded in FIFA 23

With many players performing at a similar level - such as Joao Moutinho - we're still expecting Wolves to be an exciting outfit in FIFA 23.
