The World Cup content has taken over FIFA 23 Ultimate Team and the promos will keep coming, with World Cup Phenoms taking the place of the Road to the World Cup event.
The promo highlights some of the best young players at the tournament and more World Cup Icons have come too!

World Cup Phenoms Release Date
The World Cup Phenoms promo was released on Friday, 9 December, at the usual time of 2pm ET / 6pm GMT.
Team 3 of WC Icons hit packs at the same time as the main Phenoms squad too!
A Mini-Release of three extra Phenoms players dropped on Sunday, 11 December.
The event will run for one week only, with the World Cup Team of the Tournament promo set to replace it on Friday, 16 December.
World Cup Phenoms
World Cup Phenoms is a new event in Ultimate Team, with the official word on the promo being summed up in a press release from EA:
Once the quarter finals arrive, FIFA fans will be greeted by a new class of World Cup FUT Phenoms, uplifting the performances of some of football’s brightest stars.
The event will focus on young players who have shone on the big stage, gaining greatly boosted cards.
As always, the new World Cup Phenoms cards will be added to packs, with more released via Objectives and SBCs, as is usual during promos.
World Cup Icons Team 3 joined the main squad in packs too, with another small release coming as we saw with the Road to the World Cup event.
Some more WC Swaps have been released too, but so far they have all come via packs in the FUT Store.
