The RealSport FIFA advent calendar is nearly at its end, and Day 20 sees the inclusion of a future England captain.

Already a star for club and country, the next player on our list hit new heights back in FIFA 21 after his displays throughout the Euros.

Unlike many of the players in this series, this player's best days in FIFA Ultimate Team are still ahead of him, so watch this space for more great items!

If you thought Mark Noble was the end of our West Ham representation, you thought wrong.

With Noble retiring, West Ham fans' adoration has turned to the new captain, Declan Rice, and he is already a top player in the FIFA franchise.

Declan Rice - FIFA 21

Is Declan Rice the best midfielder in the league? Yes. West Ham bias aside though, Rice has proved to be one of the Premier League's top performers.

It is highly likely that Rice will leave The Hammers to pursue his Champions League ambitions, and that could pave the way for even better FUT items.

For now, his Showdown SBC back in FIFA 21 was magnificent and is by far his best FUT item to date.

While Rice did not earn the upgrade after England's penalty shootout defeat to Italy, the card itself was still a dominant midfield presence.

With 90 Pace and incredible defensive and physical attributes, Rice really was an SBC not to be missed.

With just a basic chemistry style, Rice's attributes went up 98 OVR as a CDM, so he was the real deal.

Future England captain

Rice has made it clear he has ambitions to play in the Champions League and compete for trophies in his career.

His leadership skills are well-known too as he is captain at West Ham, and he has been a leader from a young age.

Combine the ambitions and leadership experience, and it appears to be just a matter of time before Rice takes the armband for both club and country.

Fingers crossed Rice can lead both West Ham and England to plenty of silverware, but that may be wishful thinking...

I'll certainly be happy if it's just England he is leading to major trophies.
