What are FIFA 21 Academy Cards?

The FIFA 21 Future Stars promo is arriving this evening, could the Academy cards also make a return?

They debuted at this stage of FIFA 20, but what exactly are they?

What are Academy Cards?

The Academy cards are an adaptation of the Objectives cards that we see released by EA each week.

The grind remains the same, you'll have to work your way through a series of specific objectives in order to unlock your reward.

But with the Academy cards, the rewards just keep on getting better!

How to Unlock

Dan James featured as the debut Academy Card last year, with four versions of the Welshman released, with the ratings increased with each card.

The method you have to follow in order to unlock the cards couldn't be simpler.

Once you've completed the first set of objectives, you'll unlock the lowest-rated version of the Academy player. You'll then be given a new set to complete in order to unlock the second card.

This process continues until you reach the final stage, in which you will unlock the fourth and final version of your star!

Future Stars

Any potential Academy card would almost certainly fall in line with the Future Stars promo, which will be released TONIGHT at 6pm GMT

It will feature some of the biggest and best young talents in world football, with a rating increase to reflect their potential!
