FIFA 23: Will EA Sports FC have real players?

FIFA 22 is still going strong with plenty of promos, SBCs and objectives content to get stuck into in Ultimate Team.

However, it's time to look beyond FIFA 22 as fans have been wondering whether EA Sports FC will include real life players once the split is made after FIFA 23's release.

Will EA Sports FC have real players?

In short, yes. EA Sports FC will have real life players.

EA will retain the rights to the players it had in FIFA 22 and previously.

The main change to the game will be its namesake. The game will no longer be called 'EA Sports FIFA'.

What is FIFA 23 going to be called?

The EA Sports FC announcement sent the FIFA community into meltdown.

However, it seems there is no need to overreact as EA has provided some clarity on the changes that will actually be made to the game itself.

NEW ERA - The EA Sports FIFA franchise is coming to an end

EA released the following statement regarding the game modes in EA Sports FC:

"Everything you love about our games will be part of EA SPORTS FC – the same great experiences, modes, leagues, tournaments, clubs and athletes will be there. Ultimate Team, Career Mode, Pro Clubs and VOLTA Football will all be there."

So, it seems that the biggest change to the game will be the loss of its 'FIFA' title and not the gameplay or game modes themselves.

As far as we know, FIFA 23 will be the last EA Sports FIFA title in the franchise, with the title then switching to 'EA Sports FC' for the following year.
