Football Manager 2022 Wonderkids: The BEST talents to use following the Winter Update

The Football Manager 2022 Winter Update has arrived, bringing a host of changes to your save.

From staff changes to transfers, there are plenty of alterations made in this major update, but did you know that two new wonderkids have emerged from the ashes?

FM22 Winter Update Wonderkids

Last year, Football Manager's Winter Update introduced us to Youssoufa Moukoko, one of the most exciting wonderkids the Football Manager franchise has ever seen.

Whilst there aren't any players on the level of Moukoko, FM22's Winter Update has introduced us to some brand new stars that will take our teams to the next level.

Nicolo Rovella (PA - 165)

Age: 19

Position: DM (C), M (C)

Club: Zebre (on loan at Genoa)

Whilst Rovella may not be a new name to FM22 players, his potential ability boost certainly is.

Now carrying a potential ability rating of 165, Rovella promises to be the Italian pass master that you need at the heart of your midfield in FM22.

Destiny Udogie (PA - 157)

Age: 18

Position: D (L), WB (L)

Club: Udinese

Any Football Manager 2022 player knows the value of flying full backs and a brand new wonderkid option has landed with the FM22 Winter Update.

Destiny Udogie, an Italian talent plying his trade for Udinese, carries a fresh potential ability rating of 157 and promises to be a cheaper alternative to some of the more expensive youngsters on the market.

That doesn't mean you can wait around, as this young talent promises to burst out and become a star in Football Manager 2022.

Pedri Still on Top

Football Manager 2022 players will already know the might of Barcelona's Pedri and despite the rating alterations in FM22's Winter Update, the Spanish magician remains the hottest prospect in the game.

Arsenal and England full back Bukayo Saka slips into the second spot on the list of hottest wonderkids in FM22, with Mason Greenwood removed from the game.

Crystal Palace's Michael Olise has also seen his PA rating increase to 163, making the French youngster one of the most exciting prospects in the Premier League.

Whilst some new faces have entered the game, there's yet to be a credible challenger to Pedri's wonderkid throne.

Greenwood Removed

Mason Greenwood will no longer feature in any of Football Manager 2022's game modes, this includes PC, Xbox, and Mobile versions of the game.

The Man United striker was arrested on suspicion of rape and assault on the afternoon of Sunday, 30 January, after a woman alleging incidents of violence posted pictures and videos on social media. These posts have since been deleted.

Manchester United confirmed that the 20-year-old will not be training or playing for the club until further notice.

At the time of his removal from Football Manager 2022, Greenwood was one of the highest-rated youngsters in the game.
