Whilst it may only feel like Football Manager 2022 has just arrived, you can be certain that Football Manager 2023 is just around the corner.
With that in mind, we want to take a look at a recently transferred wonderkid who WON'T be available to purchase for the first two years in FM23.
Buckle up folks, this one is going to hurt.
Wonderkid Moves On
Everybody knows that Benajmin Sesko is one of the most exciting young talents in world football, and every FM player knows just how devastating the wonderkid can be in front of goal.
A constant thorn in the side of opposition defenders, Sesko has been earning his stripes in Austria with RB Salzburg.
Now, after a transfer window filled with speculation - including links to English giants Manchester United - Sesko has finally chosen his next club.
It's bad news on both fronts for Football Manager 2023 fans, with Benjamin Sesko agreeing to join fellow Red Bull club RB Leipzig.
Whilst that wouldn't be too disastrous, the misery is compounded when you realise the deal isn't arranged to go through until the summer of 2023, meaning Sesko will be off the market for the first two seasons of your new FM career.
You'll have to keep your fingers crossed that Sesko flops in Germany during your career, otherwise, you'll be forced to fork out a premium for Slovenia's next footballing sensation.
More Wonderkids on the Move
A number of wonderkids have found new clubs this summer, with the likes of Xavi Simons, Gavin Bazunu and Karim Adeyemi all switching allegiances.
Whilst this may result in certain stars becoming more difficult to acquire, it also means a number of top talents will receive major boosts in Football Manager 2023
