Football Manager 2023: Juventus could return following end of exclusive license deal

Football Manager 2023 is just around the corner, with fans once again getting the opportunity to take the managerial hot seat.

With a host of licensing deals constantly challenging the landscape in football gaming, we've got the latest on the potential return for Juventus to FM23.

Juve set for FM Return?

Konami has announced that Juventus and eFootball's exclusive license deal is coming to an end, allowing the Italian giants to be officially licensed in other games.

Of course, much of the focussed have switched to Juve's return to FIFA 23, but Football Manager fans will be just as happy to see this exclusive deal end.

Juventus - one of Italy's biggest sides - have been absent in traditional form in Football Manager for many years, going instead by the name of Zebre.

Unlicensed teams are the bain of anyone's gaming experience, especially in a game like FM, where immersion and realism is the name of the game.

End of Zebre - Juventus could return in FM23

Thankfully, the end of Juventus' exclusive deal with eFootball may open the pathway for Italy's Old Lady to make a return in Football Manager 2023.

The Serie A license deal also expires with Serie A, meaning official badges and aesthetics could also return in FM23.

There's nothing to say that Juve or Serie A won't sign exclusive deals with EA Sports, but we'll keep our fingers crossed that Football Manager 2023 gets a deserved slice of the licensing pie.
