Sports Interactive has finally dropped Football Manager 2022, meaning players on all devices can get started at their new clubs.

FM 22 Official release date

We finally have an official release date for Football Manager 2022.

The official Football Manager Twitter account has revealed that the game should be released on Tuesday, 9 November 2021.

Beta

With that being said, any Football Manager enthusiast will know fans can access the Football Manager Beta two weeks prior to the full release if you pre-order the game.

There has been no word as to when pre-orders will become available but past releases suggest you should be able to pre-order by September.

Price

Football Manager 2022 costs £39.50 / $49.50 on Steam and Epic Games.

We expect the Xbox edition to be the same price as the PC version, however, this has not yet been confirmed.

Platforms

Football Manager is a PC game available on Windows and macOS via Steam or Epic Games.

It has now been confirmed that Football Manager will be returning to Xbox with FM22 Xbox Edition.

Excitingly, both FM22 and FM22 Xbox Edition will be available with Xbox Game Pass on Day One.

Both the PC and Xbox Editions of FM22 will be available to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members.

New Features

Unfortunately, Sports Interactive keeps any new features they have developed over the course of the year pretty secret until nearer the release date.

Previously, fans have had to wait until October before seeing a trailer for the game's new features so any fans excited to see what the new game holds will likely have to wait until then.

Fans may be holding out hope for the ability to manage women's teams, more dynamic interviews and better player interactions, but as of right now, these are all just fantasy.
