Fortnite Chapter 3: Less than ONE WEEK left in Season One!

Fortnite Chapter 3 has been absolutely killing and there is less that one week left until Season 2! We've also just had the final update of Season One!

A ton of recent leaks pointed to some great upcoming content, including crossover skins and plenty more, and we saw a lot more detail on this very recently!

Here's all the latest news around Fortnite Chapter 3 as Season 1 rambles on and update 19.30 approaches.

LATEST - Season Two starts soon!

Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 2 begins in less than one weeks' time on Sunday, 20 March.

While this date isn't confirmed, it's the best estimate we have so far with Season One ending on Saturday, 19 March. There is the possibility that the start of the season is delayed but we have no reason to believe this right now.

Gambit & Rogue arrive!

Gambit and Rogue have made their surprise Fortnite debuts overnight with the item shop reset.

These legendary X-Men are now available in the Fortnite store as a bundle and as individual skins.

19.40 to be final Season One update?

It looks like Fortnite Update 19.40 could be the last of the season. It's set to take place on either 1 or 8 March. It should add any content in relation to the end of season event (if there is one).

From there, Chapter 3, Season 1 is set to end on Saturday, 19 March.

Uncharted Collab Confirmed

Despite all of the Star Wars content being slowly added back into Fortnite, it's actually an Uncharted collab that's popped up first!

The skins and bundle are set to be released on Thursday, 17 February.

Hawkeye Bundle released!

In the item shop reset, it was announced that the leaked Hawkeye Clint Barton & Kate Bishop skins were being released! They're available to purchase in the store right now as a big bundle for 2,400 V-Bucks.

There are still plenty of exciting skins still to come in Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 1.

More Fortnite Chapter 3 Skins Leaked

In a massive leak, it's been revealed that we're getting more Marvel and League of Legends skins very soon.

Arcane Vi, Hawkeye and Kate Bishop will be landing in-game very soon in addition to the Green Goblin skin. We can't wait to see how these turn out in-game and will keep you updated on the latest news as it breaks.

Season 2 Story Leaks

It's official, we already have the first leaks for Chapter 3, Season 2! A joint effort from @TaborTimeYT and @MidaRado has brought things to light. It appears that the IO will be returning next season and kicking off the proper storytelling for Chapter 3.

Fortnite Chapter 3 Live now

It turns out that the start date leaks were real, Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 has finally gone live. Severs initially struggled with the huge demand but things are finally operating as normal.

Chapter 3 Start Time Leaked???

A leak from both the Xbox and Playstation stores points towards Chapter 3 beginning on Sunday, 5 December @ 15:00 GMT / 10:00 ET / 07:00 PT.

This is not confirmation but the closest we have to even a clue at when Chapter 3 might begin.

Spider-Man Tease

A bit of clever marketing taking place in what we believe is Times Square in New York is further suggesting that Spider-Man is on his way to Fortnite in Chapter 3.

Chapter 2 is OVER

The Rock is the foundation, Jonesy is free and the entire island just FLIPPED. Safe to say 'The End' lived up to expectations and Chapter 3 is going to be insane!

Battle Pass Leaked

We will not be going into detail here, but the Chapter 3, Season 1 Battle Pass has leaked.

Are leakers staying quiet?

After direct requests from Epic Games, it appears that some leakers are choosing to stay quiet during the Fortnite Chapter 3 downtime. It's unclear just how many will take this vow of silence but @HYPEX and @TweaBR are the highest-profile leakers to commit to this so far.

Trailer Revealed

A Fortnite Chapter 3 trailer has been seen on TikTok that reveals just how we might get to the new island. 'The Flipside' quite literally refers to the current island doing a complete 180.

This is just what we needed to send hype levels through the roof if just days to go until Chapter 3 begins!

THE FINALE - The final stages of preparation

Throughout the last several months, Fortnite's Islanders have been rallying together against alien invasions and the Cube Queen to fight for "the last reality". That fight is going to come to a head in a few days and it looks like Chimpanski - the Monkstronaut in charge of preparing defensive measures - has finally finished up building his base.

The POI that's known as "Guava Fort" has been dynamically improving over the last few days and now it's reached its final stages - which you can check out below:

It doesn't look like a lot, but it should give the Fortnite Islanders enough of a chance to overcome these great odds and save Fortnite Island - again.

Chapter 3 Confirmed!

In a video detailing the upcoming event 'The End', it's been confirmed that Fortnite Chapter 2 is coming to a close. This event will take place on Saturday, 4 December and Chapter 3 is set to begin on Tuesday, 7 December.

SPOILERS - Event details possibly revealed

It's worth taking the following with a pinch of salt, but it could be a fantastic insight into what to expect from Fortnite's Chapter 2 Finale Event ahead of the server downtime and Chapter 3 Season 1.

TweaBR has shared the following information - take it with a pinch of salt until we know more:

Sliding Mechanic - This was teased in a leaked Loading Screen image earlier and it looks like it's coming in the update that introduces the event.

• Creature Killer - The in-game event could be a wave-like survival mode against the Cube Queen and her forces.
• Catch up - A teleporting mechanic could be introduced to keep everyone on the same narrative beat.

They also suggest that these are going to be the following gameplay phases:

• Att - Attack
• Bea - Beam
• Bre - Breach
• Bri - Bridge
• Cin - Cinematic
• Esc - Escape
• Lob - Lobby
• PCin - Reloading into a game, perhaps?
• Swi - Possibly Swimming related?

LEAKS - New Loading Screen confirms Chapter 3

Fortnite leaker HappyPower has shared the following Loading Screen - an image that's meant to start hyping up the huge end-of-season event that has been leaked.

As you can see below, it confirms that Chapter 3 Season 1 is going to drop in the next major Fortnite update.

The image itself shows some classic Fortnite characters all gearing up for one final showdown with the Cube Queen at her newly-built Cube Pyramid POI.

THE END - New in-game Event Playlist coming

It looks like The End is going to be the name of the end-of-season Event Playlist - as you can see below via Fortnite leaker InTheShade:

This appears to confirm the rumours we've been seeing regarding Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 - Downtime will start on December 5th and should end on December 7th with the new Chapter starting. It also looks like The Foundation is going to have dialogue and we're not sure what to think...

Spider-Man Coming in Chapter 3?

The same source who predicted that Wonder Woman would come to Fortnite has now stepped up their belief that Spider-Man will be coming soon.

We don't know about you but it's about damn time that Spidey made his long-awaited Fortnite debut!

Epic Co-Founder Chimes In

After being directly asked on Twitter about whether Season 9 or Chapter 3 was next in the Fortnite calendar, Epic Co-Founder Mark Rein responded with 'Time will tell'.

Of course, this could be further stoking the flames to get the community hyped but it's also a dangerous game to play if the end product doesn't deliver.

It's starting to look more and more likely that Chapter 3 is just around the corner.

Fortnite Chapter 3 Start Date

If the clues are indeed trying to tell us that there will be no Season 9 and instead we'll be moving straight into Chapter 3, it would start on or around Monday, 6 December. We do know that Season 8 ends on Sunday, 5 December and will likely do so with a big blowoff event.

This may seem a bit soon to many players given that Chapter 1 lasted a lot longer and a transition like this feels like it should have a lot more hype. In reality, Epic would be hesitant to announce something like this ahead of time as it has a much greater impact if done as a surprise.

Chapter 3 Hints / Clues

There have been many clues in the last few days to point towards Fortnite Chapter 3. Initially, the main theory came from @FNChiefAko on Twitter. They theorised that the Cube Queen was the key to everything and could trigger Chapter 3 at the end of Season 8.

This came down to strange wording in the Cube Queen anthem and text attached to her cosmetics. What started as a theory which actually gained a fair bit of backlash, more and more leakers and creators have come out to validate the information and what it points to.

No one is sticking their neck out to guarantee Chapter 3 which is understandable, but it appears that a lot more people are on board with the theory!
