Fortnite: Doom or Lord of The Rings Skins Coming to The Item Shop

Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 3 has been defined by its massive number of collaborations with huge brands like DC, Star Wars, Marvel and Dragon Ball all getting featured.

Now as we wind down ahead of Season 4, it's time for another collab as Bethesda's Doom is rumoured to be making its debut in the battle royale really soon.

Rumour - Doom Slayer Coming Soon

The rumour comes from reliable Fortnite leaker and insiders HYPEX and ShiinaBR via MidaRadio that suggests that a new crossover is coming to the Fortnite Item Shop as soon as next week

The report suggests that there are a potential three crossovers that could be implemented as soon as next week with Family Guy and The Lord of The Rings also being floated about for the crossover but of the three Doom is the more likely due to one of the games being free on the Epic Games Store as of writing.

Doom also has crossovers with other Epic-owned games right now such as Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout.

This new crossover would likely see the Doom Slayer get an in-game skin, based on his appearance in Doom Eternal, potentially with styles based on prior games such as the classic DOOM.

Rumour - Lord of The Rings Skins

While DOOM is far and away the most likely scenario for next week's potential crossover, the second most likely of the three is Lord of The Rings, with a crossover tie-in for the upcoming Lord of The Rings: The Rings of Power series being fairly believable.

If this crossover were to happen, the most likely candidates for skins would be the Peter Jackson movies due to their mass popularity and appeal.

This does also make the crossover less likely overall, with the new Amazon likely wanting the new show to be what's featured over the older movies.
