Epic Games and PlayStation have revealed the Aloy Cup, which is a new duos tournament that gives you a chance to get the Horizon Zero Dawn cosmetics bundle for free.
Below, we'll run you through how to enter the duos tournament and what time is begins.
Fortnite Aloy Cup
If this is the first you're hearing about the Aloy Cup, below is the official description straight from Epic Games:
"The Aloy Cup rewards precision and mastery fitting of its namesake when utilizing the Bow. Compete against other PS4 or PS5 players to be the last one standing in each game, but eliminating opponents using a bow will earn additional points."
The top performing players in each region will be given the upcoming Horizon Zero Dawn bundle for free shortly after it ends.
As the official description reads, the Aloy Cup will only be open to PS4 and PS5 Fortnite players.
Release Date & Start Time
The Aloy Cup Duos Tournament will start in Fortnite at 5pm BST/6pm ET on April 14 and will run for three hours.
How to Enter Tournament
We'd recommend logging into Fortnite on your console 15 minutes or so before the Aloy Cup is due to start.
Then, from the battle royale lobby menu, head to the "Compete" tab and wait for Aloy Cup to appear.
Make sure you're all prepared and ready to jump into the tournament with your duos partner, because we're not sure whether there will be any limits to entry.
If you're there and ready in time, simply select the Aloy Cup to enter and you'll be able to start fighting it out to earn the free bundle ahead of its release in the store the next day.
Points Breakdown
Below is the breakdown of how points will work in the Aloy Cup.
While you get more points for winning and doing well in matches, you'll also get quadruple point for getting kills with bows, which are Aloy's signature weapons in Horizon Zero Dawn.
