The world of football (soccer) is coming to Fortnite!
New emotes and skins will become available, but first there is an exciting new tournament to participate in.

Pele Cup
Starting on Wednesday, 20 January, do you have what it takes to win the Pele Cup?
The Pele Cup is a football-themed limited time game-mode where you can show off your footy skills.
Anyone participating in the Pele Cup will have the chance to win Pele’s new Emote and the new Kick Off set for free!
Top scorers will also have the opportunity to win a customized signed shirt!
Pele Emote
Brazilian legend Pele is being honoured on Fortnite with his classic celebration becoming an Emote.
Pele’s ‘Air Punch’ Emote will be available on Fortnite from Saturday, 23 January, or through success at the Pele Cup!
New Skins – Kick Off Sets
As part of the celebration, you will be able wear the kit from 23 football teams from around the world.
The new set will become available from Saturday, 23 January.
These outfits will be available in both male and female versions with ten different variants and can be swapped out for any club you want to support in the game.

Creative Football Tournament
That is not all though, Creative mode is also joining in the football fun.
There will be a new creative island specifically designed for the football fiesta.
“Players will use their bodies, pickaxes, power-ups, speed boosts and more to try to outscore their opponents and come out the winner in this 4v4 bracket style game mode.”
