How to Find Gold in Fortnite

There are multiple ways to collect gold bars when playing Fortnite, with varying degrees of success, but the easiest method is opening chests.

Regular and Rare chests drop stacks of Gold Bars alongside the more eye-catching weapons, so you've likely collected your fair share without realizing it.

You can also find gold by opening cash registers and safes, dotted around the map—although safes are much rarer.
