For those wanting to finish their Fortnite battle pass before the end of Season 3 and the arrival of Season 4, the best way to do so is always by completing the various quests available in the battle royale.
As of writing, the most interesting quests in the game have come from the Dragon Ball x Fortnite crossover, a timed event with various tasks to increase your power level, and earn rewards including battle pass level ups.
One of these quests involves players riding one of the multiple loot shark enemies, a quest that has confused many who are unfamiliar with this feature or have perhaps never even seen it before. Here's a guide on how you can do it for yourself.

How to Ride The Loot Shark in Fortnite

Riding a loot shark in Fortnite is a surprisingly easy quest to complete if you know what you're looking for and can be done very quickly if you get yourself a landing lucky enough.
The first thing you're going to want to do is to find yourself a loot shark which is a fairly simple task. There are three major locations for loot shark spawns on the Fortnite Season 3 map including the islands East of Sanctuary, Loot Lake and off the Western coast of the map.
There are a variety of other loot shark spawn points including the lake south of Logjam Lotus and North of Sleepy Sound but from experience, the best places to find a shark are in the three areas previously mentioned.
Once you pick your shark, land nearby and search for a fishing rod as quickly as possible. Make sure to grab other loot to defend yourself also as this next step could take a while so make sure you're safe.
When the coast is clear, start fishing next to the Loot Shark. Eventually, the shark will take the bait and bite onto your fishing rod, pulling you away and into the water where you'll begin to water ski behind it, completing the task.
