Fortnite Season 2, Week 3 Seasonal Quests: Release Date, How to Complete & XP Rewards

We're absolutely powering our way through Fortnite Season 2 and have already welcomed the first major update!

Next up is a new set of weekly Seasonal quests. They're here to bring you a ton of XP, so you can grind out those pesky Battle Pass levels.

Here's everything you need to know about the Fortnite Week 3 Seasonal Quests, when they're live and how to complete them!

Fortnite Season 2, Week 3 Seasonal Quests Release Time

The Fortnite Season 2, Week 3 Seasonal quests will go live in-game on Thursday, 7 April @ 14:00 BST / 09:00 EST / 06:00 PST according to the timer shown in the quest menu. The Resistance quest line is also still ongoing for a more few more weeks if you still need to complete those quests too!

In the quest menu, we can see that the Week 2 quests won't disappear at this time, and you can still complete them between now and the end of the season.

Fortnite Season 2, Week 3 Quest Guides

The following is a breakdown of each of the Fortnite Week 3 quests and advice on how to complete them. Where additional information is needed, we'll specify and update once the quests are live in-game. All quests will be worth 20,000 XP.

Use and Ascender at Chonker's Speedway and Command Cavern 0/2

Ascenders are the vertical zip lines that popped up all over the island at the start of Fortnite Season 2.

To complete this quest, you must use one of the ascenders as Chonker's Speedway and Command Cavern. Repeating the task twice at one location will not work.

Search Chests and ammo boxes at IO Outposts 0/3

IO Outposts aren't hard to find, as they're dotted throughout the map in IO territory. Approach one and take care of any guards defending it.

Locate and search three chests or ammo boxed to complete this quest. This should only require you to clear out and search one outpost.

Mod a vehicle with the Cow Catcher 0/1

In Fortnite Season 2, the Cow Catcher was added as a fairly common item drop. Once you find one, take it to a vehicle and throw it on one to mod it. When you do this, the quest will be complete!

Damage opponents from 30 or more meters with the Revolver 0/100

The Revolver is another new weapon for Fortnite Season 2, and it's a bit tricky to do damage with at range due to recoil.

It's best to stay calm, take your time and focus on your aim to complete this quest. Try and take an opponent by surprise to help with doing damage quickly before retaliation.

Deal damage to opponents at Synapse Station or The Daily Bugle 0/75

Another simple quest here. Just land or make your way to The Daily Bugle or Synapse Station and deal damage to opponents.

Once 75 points of damage have been dealt, the quest is complete.

Emote within 10m of a character 0/1

Luckily, this quest specifies character and not opponent. This means you can head to any Fortnite NPC and emote close to them to complete this quest.

Gain shields by consuming foragables 0/50

The most common shield foragable in Fortnite Season 2 is the shield mushroom.

It can be found in wooded areas, so land at one and start looking around. Once you find some, consume them until you have 50 shields to complete the quest.

Upgrade a weapon at an upgrade bench 0/1

Upgrade benches are commonly found I'm names locations and are marked on the map with a little upwards arrow.

You'll need gold bars to upgrade a weapon, and the lower the quality of the weapon, the cheaper it will be to upgrade.

Deal damage to opponents with a legendary weapon 0/150

Legendary weapons in Fortnite are the Gold labelled ones. It's a complete guessing game as to how to get one, as they are a very rare drop. You can also upgrade a weapon to legendary, but you will likely need over 1,000 gold bars to do so.

Once you have one, just deal damage to opponents to complete the quest.
