Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 is now fully underway, and the Week 6 challenges are here!

Here are the leaked Week 6 quests which are coming to Fortnite this Thursday.

Release Time

New challenges on Fortnite go live at 9am EST/2pm GMT every Thursday.

Week 6 Quests

During Season 5, Challenges have become known as Quests, as the season is focused around NPCs, who give you Quests and Bounties to complete.

iFireMonkey has leaked the Week 6 Quests online via Twitter.

Epic Challenges are worth 20,000 XP each.

  • Blow up Fishing Holes at Sharky Shell, Sweaty Sands or Flopper Pond (3)
  • Destroy Motorboats (3)
  • Blow up Fishing Holes at Lazy Lake Island, Lake Canoe, and near Steamy Stacks (3)
  • Catch Fish (7)
  • Signal the Coral Buddies (1)
  • Destroy Boats (7)
  • Destroy Fishing Rod Barrels (7)

Week 6 Legendary Challenges

Here are the leaked Week 6 Legendary Quests:

Legendary Challenges are worth 55,000 XP each, with a cosmetic reward if you finish all stages.

  • Get Headshots (20, 40, 60, 80, 100)

Release Date

Fortnite Season 5 Week 6 challenges will be arriving on Tuesday, 5 January 2021.

Winterfest

It has now been revealed that Winterfest won't be called Winterfest this year, instead it is now known as Operation Snowdown.

Players will be given Operation Snowdown challenges to complete, which will grant XP and cosmetics, including two free skins.

There is also another event called The Spy Within, which will grant even more free cosmetics.

Players who complete all of the Operation Snowdown challenges will receive the Snowmando and Frost Squad skins for free.

Ahead of the launch of the new event, Epic Games has released the trailer for Operation Snowdown, giving players a glimpse at what to expect.

Planes Have Returned

The X-4 Stormwing hasn't been seen in game since Chapter 1 Season 7 ended in early 2018.

Season 7 was also winter themed, which introduced the snow biome to the Chapter 1 map.

They have finally made a return to the game, whether they stay beyond Operation Snowdown we're not sure.

But for now, fans of them have a chance to use them again.

End Date

Operation Snowdown is set to end on January 5th, giving players around two and a half weeks to check out all of the new additions to the game.

This will likely be the final update to the game in 2020 as Epic Games usually takes time off over the holiday season.
