First Fortnite Season 7 Teases Have Been Sent to Influencers

Following the release of the 16.50 update, we're now just two weeks out from the release of Fortnite Season 7.

As always, the teases for what to expect from the new season have begun, with the first round of items being sent out to Fortnite influencers.

Check out what's been sent out and what that means for the new season of Epic's battle royale.

Fortnite Season 7 Alien Teases

As you can see from the iFireMonkey tweet below, influencers have been sent DVDs and postcards that tease Season 7.

Most of it is strange footage of open fields, accompanied by the words "they're coming."

Elsewhere, people were sent CDs and phone numbers, and playing/calling them will play mysterious sounds that sound like aliens.

It seems like each of the internet personalities who were sent a package received something different. However, they each feature the same kind of teases, plastered with the "they're coming" quote and some alien iconography.

Not much else is known, but they link closely to the alien themed audio files and images that were added to Fortnite as part of the 16.50 update.

It looks like aliens and space will be the themes of Season 7 and the upcoming event, and we expect more and more teases to come out ahead of launch.

Season 7 Release Date

As for when Season 7 is set to begin, you'll have to wait until Season 6 ends on Tuesday, May 8.

We'd expect the event to happen early in the morning of May 8, with the new battle pass beginning shortly after.

In the days proceeding that, though, you can expect all the details on the new season to be revealed.
