As we approach the end of Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3, many events are scheduled to take place over the last few weeks and the last of them is set to be the return of the Rainbow Royale event.
A celebration of the LGBTQIA+ Community who play Fortnite, Rainbow Royale is an in-game pride event of sorts, with themed cosmetics and changes made to help people feel more represented.

Fortnite Rainbow Royale
click to enlargeAccording to the sources of game journalist Tom Henderson, the new Rainbow Royale event is scheduled to start on Wednesday, 7th September 2022.
This start date places it right after the currently ongoing event, Shadow of Phantasm Week, comes to a close and will see the return of the pride-themed cosmetics to the Fortnite Item Shop along with a variety of in-game cosmetic changes.
The first of these cosmetic changes is a brand new pride-themed battle bus, complete with a nice sleek design with colourful accents and a rainbow logo.
This marks the second battle bus change throughout Fortnite Season 3, with the other major cosmetic change being the Dragon Ball battle bus used during that crossover's main portion before this past update.
click to enlargeThe world of Fortnite is also set for a pride-themed makeover during this event, with the skies being decorated with colourful and wavy auroras and rainbows, adding a lot of colour to the already bright world of the battle royale until the event finishes.
It's currently unclear whether or not the event will also have any quests or tasks assigned to them but we will update this article as soon as we find out more info about all that the Rainbow Royale event will have to offer once it arrives with a bang in early September.
