Street Fighter's Cammy and Guile are coming to Fortnite

Fortnite is taking absolutely zero days off at the moment. We have the Bloodsport Suicide Squad skin launching today, Ariana Grande launching on 5 August, and the Rift Tour on 6 August. Just to keep us on our toes, we now know that Cammy and Guile from Street Fighter are coming to Fortnite and much sooner than you think!

Here's everything we know following the announcement.

Cammy and Guile Fortnite Release Date

Cammy and Guile will land in the Fortnite item store on Saturday, August 7 at 20:00 EST / 17:00 PST. For UK players, they will release on Sunday, 8 August at 01:00 BST.

Each character will have a base and alternate skin, as well as some cosmetic items like an emote and spray.

Like many other big releases in the past, both skins will be available in a bundle with some additional extras like a harvesting tool and glider. For this bundle, you'll receive Guile's Knuckle Buster Pickaxe, Cammy's Red Delta Bowie Blade Pickaxe and the V-Trigger Vector Glider.

Fortnite Cammy Cup

You will be able to get your hands on Cammy a little earlier than in the item store, but it's going to take some skill. That's right, Fortnite is holding a Cammy Cup where you can battle it out in a short format tournament to try and win the Cammy skin.

This tournament will begin on Thursday, 5 August and will follow the Duos format. You'll have three hours to play up to 10 complete matches and earn points for your final positions in the match as well as your eliminations.

You will earn the Round Two Loading Screen just for competing and earning 8 points. If you're among the top-performing teams at the end of the Cammy Cup, you'll earn the Camy Outfit and Borealis Backer Back Bling.
