In a sensational swoop from the Bundesliga champions, Bayern Munich have reportedly secured the signature of Manchester City full-back Joao Cancelo.

The German league leaders have agreed to a deal that sees the 28-year-old move on an initial loan with a £61.5m option to buy in the summer.

This has serious ramifications in Fantasy Premier League as the Portugal international can be found in over 35% of FPL teams.

Owners of the former City full-back now need a replacement and we've got you covered for the top five best options in Fantasy.

Summer signing Sven Botman (£4.5m) has been a revelation at the back for Newcastle United.

The 23-year-old is a fixture in the Magpies back line which has kept six clean sheets in the last six gameweeks and eleven clean sheets in total this season.

It's worth noting that Newcastle could blank in GW25, but this shouldn't put you off Botman as he offers incredible value and is owned by just 6% of FPL managers.

Oleksandr Zinchenko (£5.0m)

Like Botman, Oleksandr Zinchenko (£5.0m) has had an incredible impact on his team since arriving in the summer transfer window.

Zinchenko is a guaranteed starter for Arsenal, who have brilliant fixtures from now until GW30 including a Double Gameweek in GW23.

The Ukrainian defender-turned-midfielder has two clean sheets in his last four starts and is a constant threat going forward as he regularly carries the ball into the attacking third for the Gunners.

Pervis Estupinan (£4.5m)
