Battlefront: Misty Dungeon - Plunging Trial

Genshin Impact's Battlefront: Misty Dungeon Event is underway, allowing players to trial several characters while completing challenges inside the Misty Dungeon.

The Plunging Trial, which offers players buffs for using plunging attacks.

It is a shame Xiao is not one of the available characters to use, with such amazing plunging capabilities.

Battlefront: Misty Dungeon

The Misty Dungeons Trials allow Genshin Impact players to choose four characters from a pool of ten different options, three of which are 5-Star.

The available characters are:

  • Keqing
  • Albedo
  • Mona
  • Amber
  • Barbara
  • Beidou
  • Sucrose
  • Noelle
  • Xinyan
  • Diona

These eight characters are not set to change throughout the event, allowing players to take their time and try each at their leisure over the course of the event.

Each day, players will set forth into the Misty Dungeon to find three red runes, defeat a challenge for each, and then head to the final location in the dungeon to dive down and face one last combat challenge.

There are also several other types of option mechanical challenges available for players, each offering a buff of some sort when completed.

Each Trial must be completed within 12 minutes, with a reward generally available for each Trial if at least 6 minutes is left on the clock when players complete them.

Each day's trials offer players 70 Primogems just for completing the dungeon, as well as other rewards if different conditions are met.

The first day of the Battlefront: Misty Dungeon Event is The Plunging Trial.

This trial has five different challenges, each earning players a different reward.

  1. Complete the Plunging Trial Once
    70 Primogems
  2. Complete the Plunging Trial once while completing at least 5 mechanism challenges (not including the Final Challenge)
    4 Hero's Wit
  3. Use Plunging Attacks to defeat 8 opponents in the Plunging Trial
    4 Guide to Freedom
  4. Complete the Plunging Trial once and take no more than 5 hits from traps
    30,000 Mora
  5. Complete the Plunging Trial once with 6 minutes or more remaining
    6 Mystic Enchantment Ore

Albedo is extremely helpful in the Trial with the ability to lift party members up into the air, setting them up to perform plunging attacks to boost the party and help complete one of the Day's challenges.

  • Level 90 Fatui Electro Cicin Mage
  • Level 90 Treasure Hoarders: Gravedigger
  • Level 90 Treasure Hoarders: Seaman
  • Level 90 Treasure Hoarders: Pugilist
  • Level 80 Hilichurl Fighter
  • Level 80 Hilichurl Berserker
  • Level 80 Blazing Axe Mitachurl
  • Level 80 Hilichurl Grenadier
  • Level 80 Treasure Hoarders: Pyro Potioneer
  • Level 80 Treasure Hoarders: Cryo Potioneer
  • Level 80 Treasure Hoarders: Seaman
  • Level 80 Treasure Hoarders: Pugilist
  • Level 80 Fatui Electro Cicin Mage
  • Level 80 Large Geo Slime
  • Level 80 Geo Slime
  • Level 80 Large Pyro Slime
