Genshin Impact 2.7 Kuki Shinobu Farming Guide: All Ascension & Talent Materials

Kuki Shinobu, the sidekick of Arataki Itto, is becoming a playable character in Genshin Impact 2.7. She's very knowledgeable and well-versed in both literature and martial arts.

Here is our pre-farming guide with all ascension materials to get Kuki Shinobu ready for battle from day one of her release. We also include the best weapons and artifact sets.

Release Date

The second phase of Genshin Impact 2.7 will go live on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, around 6 pm Server Time (Chinese Standard Time).

Genshin Impact 2.7 Second Phase Banners

For the second phase of Genshin Impact, Hoyoverse will release only one rerun with Arataki Itto & Kuki Shinobu.

The following banners will be available during the last three weeks of version 2.7:

• Oni's Royale will feature the first rerun of Arataki Itto, a 5-star Geo Claymore character.

The following 4-stars characters complete the banner.

• Kuki Shinobu - 4-star Electro, Sword User
• Chongyun - 4-star Cryo, Claymore User
• Gorou - 4-star Geo, Bow User.

Kuki Shinobu

Kuki Shinobu is a powerful figure who transformed the Arataki gang. Kuki is a very skilled figure in business negotiation, banquet catering, clothing customization, and legal consultation.

Kuki and Yanfei studied together at the Law School of Liyue.

Ascension Materials

These are the ascension materials you'll need for Yelan:

Runic Fang

This character level-up material is dropped by the new boss Ruin Serpent, introduced in Version 2.6.

• This boss is located in the depths of the new region, The Chasm, with a cost of 40 resins.
• Players need x46 Runic Fangs for Lv. 90 Kuki Shinobu.
• The Ruin Serpent drops 2-3 pieces of these materials once it is defeated.

Naku Weed

Naku Weed is a local specialty of Inazuma, a plant with big purple leaves that look like petals that protect the flower.

• Players need 168 Naku Weed for an Lv. 90 Kuki.
• There are 129 Naku Weed in the wild refreshing every 48hrs.
• Players can buy extra Naku weed with NPC Aoi in Inazuma, and grow 8 more in the Serenitea Pot.

Specters

Common enemies of Inazuma. Hard to kill flying creatures whose materials drop are needed for several characters and weapons.

Players will need x18 Spectral Husk, x30 Spectral Heart, and x36 Spectral Nucleus for Lv. 90 Kuki.

Talent Materials

The new Region Enkanomiya is populated by a big number of Specters, we recommend adding it to your farming route for these materials.

To maximize Kuki Shinobu's Talents, players need:

• 18 Spectral Husk
• 66 Spectral Heart
• 93 Spectral Nucleus

Elegance Series

Talent-level books that players can obtain in the Violet Court domain on Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday.

• To max Kamisato Ayato's Talents, players need to collect:
  • 9 Teachings of Elegance
  • 63 Guide to Elegance
  • 114 Philosophies of Elegance

Trounce Domain: End of the Oneiric Euthymia

Magatsu Mitake Narukami no Mikoto is the name of the new weekly boss. Players need to battle the Raiden Shogun, the puppet created by the Electro Archon.

The Raiden Shogun will drop the Tears of the Calamitous God when defeated.

• Kuki Shinobu requires 18 Tears for max Talent.

Additionally, players require Vajrada Amethyst, a common crafting material for Electro Characters, and tons of Mora to level Kuki Shinobu to the highest level.

Best Artifacts and Weapons for Kuki Shinobu

Kuki Shinobu is expected to become the healer that the Mono Electro Team needs. Taking this into consideration, here are the best weapons and artifacts for Kuki Shinobu.

Best Artifacts

the best artifact set for a support/healing build is 4 pieces of Noblesse Oblige that will benefit the entire team.

Another option is the artifact sets dedicated to healers, Ocean Hued Clam and Maiden Beloved

Best Weapons

For a Kuki Shinobu damage build, the 5-star sword Freedom-Sworn looks like the best option. However, we do not recommend investing in this type of build before some testing with the character first.

The best options for a Support and F2P built are the Favonius Sword to generate universal Energy Particles and the Sacrificial Sword to spam Kuki Healing.
