The first Character Event Banner is currently live, and the second one is expected to release around September 22nd.
Genshin Impact 2.1 Bosses
Genshin Impact fans will find several new bosses in Genshin Impact 2.1, including La Signora, a Hydro Hypostasis, and the Thunder Manifestation.
Genshin Impact 2.1 New Locations
The Watatsumi and Seirai Islands arrived in Genshin Impact 2.1, part of the nation of Inazuma.
These islands will be located to the west and southeast of the currently available islands of Inazuma.

Fishing has come to Genshin Impact!
There are several different rods available for players to use in designated bodies of water, each of which can be equipped with different bait crafted at Alchemy Tables.
Genshin Impact 2.1 launched with over 20 fish, some of which are ornamental and can be placed into ponds in a player's Serenitea Pot.
Genshin Impact's 1 Year Anniversary
Genshin Impact 2.1 will include a celebration of the game's one-year anniversary, offering players the opportunity to earn up to 10 Intertwined Fates.
Other celebrations include the construction of a six-and-a-half-foot-tall Paimon statue built of player messages and an online orchestral concert!

There is still no official release date for the Nintendo Switch version of Genshin Impact.

Nintendo Switch Release
Originally, a Nintendo Switch port of the game was supposed to launch in September 2020, when Genshin Impact came out of beta.
Unfortunately, this version was delayed, and so far, there has been no official release date set.
With Genshin Impact 2.0 out in the wild, there is still no word on when fans will be able to get their hands on the Switch version.
As of right now, it is not expected a Genshin Impact Switch port will be happening anytime soon.
Rumors have been spreading that miHoYo may be waiting for the release of the Switch Pro, with the developer possibly having issues with a Switch port due to the limited power of Nintendo's console compared to the resource needs of Genshin Impact.
