Genshin Impact Update 2.2 Into the Perilous Labyrinth of Fog went live on:
- October 13th, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. Server Time.
Banners in Genshin Impact 2.2
The first Genshin Impact 2.2 banner is Farewell of Snezhnaya, featuring 5-star Hydro bow user Childe Tartaglia.
It will also include the following 4-star characters:
- Ningguang - Geo (Catalyst)
- Yanfei - Pyro (Catalyst)
- Chongyun - Cryo (Claymore)
The first Weapon Banner will introduce two new weapons:
- Polar Star is an excellent bow for characters that main damage comes from single attacks
- Akuoumaru, this weapon will reward parties with high energy recharge like the teams built around the Electro Archon.
These are the two 5-star weapons featured in the current banner.

The second banner of Genshin Impact will include the rerun of Hu Tao and the new pyro character Thoma.

Inazuma expands for the last time.
Tsurumi Island, the last region of Inazuma, will be launch in Genshin Impact 2.2. A solemn place surrounded by a dense Fog, where few dare to enter.
The island is the home of:
- Rifthounds, new enemies that can inflict corrosion and damage through shields.
- Remarkable chests, a new type of chest that includes Furniture Blue Prints
- Fluorescent Fungus, a new ascension material exclusive from this island.
- Stormstones, world mechanisms that will discover paths in the Fog.
New Banners - Characters
Genshin Impact 2.2 banners will feature two re-runs and the introduction of Thoma as a playable character.
The first banner, Farewell of Snezhnaya, will feature Childe Tartaglia, the 5-star Hydro bow user.
The banner will also feature the following 4-star characters:
- Ningguang - Geo (Catalyst)
- Yanfei - Pyro (Catalyst)
- Chongyun - Cryo (Claymore)
For the second banner of Genshin Impact 2.2, Hu Tao, a 5-star Pyro Polearm user, will have her first re-run, and Thoma, a 4-star Pyro Polearm user, will make his debut.

Genshin Impact 2.2 weapon banner will feature the Polar Star, a 5-star Bow with Crit Rate as a primary stat. The weapon is Tailor-Made for Childe.

The good news, the storage capacity for Artifacts will be increased from 1000 to 1500
New Events
Besides the regular batch of events, this version will see the return of Hangouts. With two new storylines. Thoma and Sayu
- Labyrinth Warriors
- The combat challenge of Genshin Impact 2.2
- A rogue-like dungeon where players can earn a free Xinyan
- Shadow of the Ancients
- Travelers will work with a Sumeru Scholar. The event is divided into three parts.
- Investigating surveys, travelers will explore with a unique gadget, looking for pieces to repair Pristine Spikes.
- Data Sampling, players need to repair and reactivate the Pristine spikes.
- Live Testing, use the Pristine Spikes to deactivate the regenerative power of the Ruin Grader.
- Tuned to the World'sAyesha's Sounds
- Another rhythm-based mini-game
- Players will play alongside other characters
- Seven Characters will join this event with their song: Ningguang, Zhong Li, Keqing, Xiao, Kokomi, Ayaka, and Raiden Shogun.
- Dreams of Bloom
- Serenitea Pot Flower Event
- Players can grow and trade flowers and seeds to help Sakuya'sWorld'sAyesha's Enterprise.
- Travelers will also be able to keep these flowers as Serenitea Pot furniture.
Serenitea Pot 2.2 content
Our Serenitea Pot will have new items and options to continue building the realm of our dreams:
- New Real Layout: Silken Courtyard, this new realm will be available after unlocking level 40 of the Sacred Sakura.
- This new realm has Inazuma vibes, Sakuras, and Shallow Bodies of Water.
- New Furnishing: Floating Platforms
- Players will be able to adjust the height of these floating platforms, set furniture over them.
- World Exploration will include a new type of chest: Remarkable Chest, where players can find new Furnishing blueprints or New Set blueprints.
- Players will get blueprints from the Forge, Crate Furnishing Menu, and the Crafting Bench.
New Settings
Genshin Impact 2.2 will get a new Anisotropic Filtering graphic setting.
This will allow players with higher-end PCs to retain the sharpness of images at different viewing angles.
