While we are waiting for the beginning of the Genshin Impact 2.4 adventure, data miners dropped a bomb on Twitter earlier this morning, revealing some in-game images of Yae Miko.
These images revealed essential details about the Gameplay of the v upcoming 5-star Electro character, her design, and even confirmed her Weapon!

Here is everything revealed so far about Yae Miko and what players can expect from her in Genshin Impact 2.5.
Release Date
Yae Miko will be part of the Geshin Impact 2.5 update that will go live from February 16, 2022, until March 30, 2022.
It is expected she will be featured along with Kuki Shinobu, Arataki Itto's sidekick, a 4-star electro character. However, we have not received an official announcement yet.
Yae Miko's Weapon
Yae Miko's 5-star signature weapon has a unique style. The weapon resembles a Kagura Suzu, a relic with bells used during the Japanese Kagura Dances.
Miko will become the second Electro character that uses a Catalyst, after the Starter Character Lisa.
Kagura's Verity the new catalyst will provide the following stats:
- Base Attack: 608
- Secondary stat - 66.2% Crit DMG
- Passive R5: When using an Elemental Skill character receive the Shinra Dance, increasing the Elemental Skill DMG by 24%
- The effect lasts 12s and stacks 3 times. When 3 stacks are reached wielder gains additional 24% damage.
The Crit. DMG sub stat adds to the speculation that Yae Miko will be one of the strongest DPS in the game - so there's plenty to be excited about!

Yae Miko Gameplay
Yae Miko let us know during the events in the ver. 2.2 she is a creature, similar to the dragons Duvalin and Azhdaha, the companions of the Anemo and Geo Archons, respectively.
Yae Miko's actual form is a Kitsune, intelligent foxes with paranormal abilities that increase as they get older. Kitsunes are known for having several fluffy tails. Another famous Kitsune in video games is the very popular Ahri from League of Legends.
Although Yae Miko mentioned we would never see her tail, well, apparently, during Yae's Elemental Burst, she will transform in her Kitsune Form. Besides many tails, her eyes will cover with lighting flashes like her best friend, Baal.
Yae Miko's Elemental Skill
Yae Miko Elemental Skill will leave behind Thunderstorm Sakuras that will work as beacons of Electro DMG.
Her Elemental Burst will summon the Sky Kitsune that will strike enemies with Lightning Bolts. The Thunderstorm Sakura will become additional Lighting Bolts.
