Genshin Impact 2.5 Livestream went live on Friday, February 4, 2022, around 8:00 pm at server time. (Chinese Standard Time)

How to Watch 2.5 Livestream
miHoYo streams their Special Programs on the Genshin Impact Twitch channel. The stream is available in both English and Simplified Chinese.
Another option to catch the show live is via the Genshin Impact Tik Tok account.
In case you miss the live version, the Special Program will be available on the Genshin Impact YouTube Channel around 11 am EST.
Genshin Impact 2.5 Livestream
Genshin Impact 2.5 will mark the debut of Yae Miko as a playable character. In addition, we will find out more about the Inazuma backstory. Baal and Kokomi will be the reruns for this update.
Players are receiving two new Catalysts, one following the Gacha System, and the other offered for Free as the reward of the upcoming Three Realms Gateway Offering Event.
Genshin Impact 2.5 Character Banners
First Phase
The first half of Genshin Impact 2.5 will focus on only one banner featuring 5-star Electro Character Yae Miko.
The first Weapon banner will introduce the 5-star Catalyst, Kagura's Verity. and the high probabilities of the 5-star sword, Jade Primordial Cutter, as the second weapon.
Second Phase
For the second half of Genshin Impact 2.5, arriving on March 9, 2022, we are receiving two reruns: Raiden Shogun and Sangonomiya Kokomi.
If Baal and Kokomi have reruns in the upcoming version, the second weapon banner will most likely feature Engulfing Lighting and Everlasting Moonglow.
New Map Area
Genshin Impact 2.5 will not receive a new area in the biggest surprise of the ver. 2.5 Livestream we receive the first glimpse of The Chasm
The Chasm will introduce a new boss. An ancient machine that Zhongli and Azhdaha battle a long time ago.
New Stories
Players are receiving two new stories that will be interconnected.
First Raiden Shogun's Story Quest: Imperatrix Umbrosa Chapter: Act II - Transient Dreams. Completing this quest will unlock the new weekly boss.
It is also necessary to complete Imperatrix Umbrosa Quest to unlock Yae Miko's Story Quest: Divina Vulpes Chapter: Act I.
New Events
These are the new events coming in Genshin Impact 2.5
- New Boss Domain: Raiden Shogun will be the new weekly boss.
- Three Realms Gateway Offering: Exploration event of Enkanomiya, with three new regions.
- The main event of Genshin Impact 2.5
- Free 4-star Catalyst Oathsworn Eye as the main reward.
- Oathsworn Eye, refine material: Ointment Sight
- Divine Ingenuity
- Player-designed domains accessible by all players
- The domain-only includes obstacle challenges, no mobs of enemies
- The event is very similar to Super Mario Maker.
- Drink a Dreaming
- Prepare drinks for certain characters to unlock new dialogs.
- Eula, Kaeya & Rosaria, Diluc, Lisa & Jean, Zhongli, Beidou & Ningguang, and Shenhe
- Hyakunin Ikki rerun
- Combat challenges with a quick swap of teams of two.
- Players can use the following Trial Characters: Ayaka, Yoimiya, Kazuha, Itto, Xiangling, and Razor.
- Overflowing Mastery
- Players will obtain the double of Talent Books material in all domains.
Genshin Impact 2.5 Promo Codes
During Genshin Impact 2.5, miHoYo will share three promo codes good for 300 Primogems and Ascension Materials. The codes will be valid until February 6, 2022, at 11 pm EST.
