Genshin Impact 2.6 Ayaka Farming Guide: All Locations for Ascension and Talent Materials


Genshin Impact 2.6 has seen the return of familiar faces from Inazuma, and more are coming in phase 2!

Kamisato Ayato made his debut along with Venti, the Anemo Archon. Leaving travelers ready for the Ayaka banner in the second phase of Genshin Impact 2.6!

Here is our Ayaka farming guide so players can prepare for her return in Genshin Impact 2.6 phase 2, collecting Talent and Ascencion Materials to level her to her full potential.

Ayaka Farming Guide

Ayaka is the oldest daughter of the Kamisato Clan and sister of Kamisato Ayato.

Ayaka is currently the most consistent DPS character. The Ayaka Permafrost team is the most popular squad to clear the spiral abyss with, a testament to her success in end-game content.

With that, Ayaka is a great character to go for and a fantastic addition to any squad. To get full use of the character, though, you'll need to level her up first.

Ascension Materials

Perpetual Heart is a character level-up material dropped by the Perpetual Mechanical Array a boss introduced in Genshin Impact 2.0.

  • This boss is located in a cave under the ocean in Jinren Island, Inazuma.
  • Players need 46 Perpetual Hearts for a Lvl 90 Ayaka.
  • The Perpetual Mechanical Array drops 2-3 of these materials once it is defeated for a cost of 40 resins.

Sakura Bloom is a local specialty of Inazuma, petals that fall from the Sacred Sakura Tree. To harvest Sakura Bloom, travelers need to use an Electro Skill.

  • Players need 168 Sakura Bloom for an Lv. 90 Kamisato Ayaka.
  • There are 71 Sakura Bloom in the wild refreshing every 48hrs.
  • Sakura Bloom is not available for buying, and they can't be grown in the Serenitea Pot.

Handguards are materials dropped by Nobushi and Kairagi from Inazuma. Players can find these Samurai warriors in most regions of the Electro Nation, and Ayaka uses these to level up.

  • To level up Kamisato Ayaka to Lv. 90 travelers require:
    • 18 Old Handguard
    • 30 Kageuchi Handguard
    • 36 Famed Handguard

Talent Materials

Nobushi and Kairagi are Elite enemies that drop the same common materials, Handguards. The best farming route for these materials is on Yashiori Island. To maximize Miko's Talents, players need:

  • 18 Old Handguards
  • 66 Kageuchi Handguards
  • 93 Famed Handguards

Elegance Series are talent-level books that players can obtain in Violet Court's domain in Inazuma on Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday.

  • To max Ayaka's Talents, players need to collect:
    • 9 Teachings of Elegance
    • 63 Guide to Elegance
    • 114 Philosophies of Elegance

Azhdaha is the oldest of the Geovishaps. Players can find him in the Trounce Domain Beneath the Dragon-Queller, the dragon was the pet of the Geo Archon.

Azhdaha will drop the Bloodjade Branch once is defeated.

  • Ayaka needs 18 of these Branches for max Talents.

Additionally, players need Shivada Jade Sliver fragments, common crafting materials for Cryo Characters, and tons of Mora to level Ayaka to the highest level.

Ayaka Best Artifacts and Weapons

Kamisato Ayaka is a very straightforward DPS, the best artifact built for her is four pieces of the set Blizzard Strayer that can increase up to 40% the Crit. Rate, against Frozen characters.

The artifacts should focus on Crit. Rate and Crit. DMG with a good balance of ATK. Some Energy Recharge is good but no priority.

Best Weapons

The BIS weapon is the sword Mistsplitter Reforged, which will be featured in the upcoming weapon banner, with a high ATK base and Crit. DMG as the secondary stat.

Jade Primordial Cutter and the Haran Geppaku Futsu are other 5-star good options.

The best free-to-play option is the Amenoma Kageuchi, a craftable 4-star sword that will increase the overall Damage of Ayaka skills.

Blackcliff Sword is another 4-star option, but not as accessible as you need to get it from the Paimon's Bargain Shop.

Additionally, players need Varunda Lazurite, common crafting material for Hydro Characters, and tons of Mora to level up Kokomi to the highest level.
