Genshin Impact 2.6 Hues of the Violet Garden Event: Release Date, Free Xingqiu & Latest News

The main event of Genshin Impact 2.6, the Hues of the Violet Garden, is about to begin! The event celebrates the Inzauman Irodori Festival.

The land of the Electro Archon opens its door to fan-favorite characters from all over Teyvat. Klee, Xingqiu, and Albedo are expected to make an appearance, and it seems we will see an unusual reunion between archons, Venti and Baal.

Here is everything you need to know about the Hues of the Violet Garden Event and how to obtain Xingqiu for free!

Release Date & Time

Hues of the Violet Garden will run from April 7, 2022, starting at 10 am Server Time (Chinese Standard Time).

The event will be divided into four different Acts available until April 25, 2022.

Eligibility Requirements

• Adventure Rank 30 or above
• Complete the Ritou Escape Plan part of the Archon Quest: "Chapter II: Act I - The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia

It is recommended to complete the following story quests, considering they may be spoilers during the Irodori festival:

• Complete Kamisato Ayato's Story Quest: Cypressus Custos
• Raiden Shogun's Story Quest Act 2: Transient Dreams
• Sangonomiya Kokomi's Story Quest: Warriors' Dreams Like Spring Grass Renewing.

Hues of the Violet Garden Event

The main event of Genshin Impact 2.6 will have compelling storytelling and will also be divided into four mini-games.

• The Moon and Stars Inscribe

  • To start the mini-game is necessary to complete the quest: True Tales of the Violet Garden: Act I - Legends of the Kasen.
  • Players will take pictures in specific regions after receiving daily themes to obtain inspiration.

• Theater Mechanicus: Stage of Brilliance

  • The rerun of the event Theater Mechanicus will include new features and new challenges.
  • The mini-game follows the same mechanic as the original Plant vs. Zombies. Players will set defenses to prevent waves of enemies from destroying the base.

• Clash of Lone Blades

  • To start the mini-game is necessary to complete the quest: True Tales of the Violet Garden: Act III - Legends of the Kasen.
  • The mini-game will let players take part in Sparring Swords Sessions.

• The Floral Courtyard

  • In this event, players will assist Ayaka in creating Ikebana (Floral Decorations), which players can use in their Serenitea Pot.
  • After obtaining the floral theme from Fushizome, players will construct a specific floral courtyard according to the hints of the floral theme.

Legends of the Kasen

Every mini-game is preceded by a chapter of the quest True Tales of Violet Garden.

Completing every act of the event quest will grant players the item Irodori Anecdotes.

Collect all the Irodori Anecdotes to obtain the 4-star Hydro Sword character Xingqiu.
