Genshin Impact released a new Character Teaser called Kamisato Ayato: Lanterns in the Night. This trailer goes a bit behind the scenes to take a deeper look at Ayato as a character.
If there was any doubt that Kamisato Ayato is the ultimate husband material, the new trailer showed him as a humble, overworked and responsible family man.
Hoyoverse decided to give fans a soothing video instead of an action-packed clip. Something similar to Yae Miko's first teaser, and we think it works well, increasing the hype for Kamisato in a unique way.
Kamisato Ayato Release Date
Azure Excursion, the first banner of Genshin Impact 2.6, will go live on March 30, 2022, and will be available until April 19, 2022
The Banner will feature Kamisato Ayato - 5-star Hydro, Sword character, and the following 4-stars characters:
- Yun Jin - 4-star Geo, Polearm User
- Sucrose - 4-star Anemo, Catalyst User
- Xianling - 4-star Pyro, Polearm User
Kamisato Ayato: Lanterns in the Night
In the first scene of the character teaser: Lanterns in the night, we can see Ayato in his office with a big pile of paperwork.
Players have a chance for a closer look at his outfit, even when his suit is white. The many details in purple make it very clear Ayato is an Inazuma inhabitant.
The beautiful Osode (Arm Armor) on his right shoulder shows that Ayato is also a man of battle. Despite the Yashiro Commission being in charge of the cultural affairs of the Nation, Ayato needs to get his hands dirty to stop enemies threatening his nation and family.
However, the best scene of the trailer has to be the little family reunion in the Komore Teahouse with Ayaka, Thoma, and Taroumaru.
While looking for Shelter, Ayato runs into Ayaka and Thoma in the Komore Teahouse, the secret headquarters of the resistance in Narukami Island.
We can also see the owner of the Tea House, the cute Shiba Inu Taroumaru.
In a concise intimate dialogue, we can see how important is family for Ayato.
Ayato's Birthday
We are sure this little detail will bring a bit of controversy into the community.
Ayato's Birthday is March 26, which means we are not receiving any unique in-game gifts from him until 2023, considering Ayato's release is four days late on March 30.
This is probably an unintentional mistake by developers, but it also could mean a surprise is waiting for us in two days!
