Genshin Impact 2.7: All Events, Start Dates, Rewards & Latest News

Genshin Impact 2.7 will be an exciting update. On the one hand, we will see the conclusion of some ongoing stories; on the other, Hoyoverse will start introducing Sumeru, the Dendro Nation.

The update will introduce two new characters, Yelan, a 5-star Hydro Bow character, and Kuki Shinobu, a 4-star Electro Sword character. The patch will also see the return of Arataki Itto.

Players will also continue discovering secrets inside The Chasm—the enormous mine area released in version 2.6

Genshin Impact 2.7 Release Date & Time

Genshin Impact 2.7 will go live on May 31, 2022, and will run until July 13, 2022. The six-week cycle is divided into two parts.

First Phase Banners

The first phase of Version 2.7 starts on May 31, 2022, and will last for three weeks, finishing on June 22, 2022.

Genshin Impact 2.7 will introduce the new 5-star Hydro Character Yelan, a secret agent from Liyue, a bow user with unique abilities and excellent mobility.

Along with Yelan, Xiao and the following 4-star characters complete the roster:

• Yanfei - 4-star Pyro, Catalyst User
• Barbara - 4-star Hydro, Catalyst User
• Noelle - 4-star Geo, Claymore User.

First Weapon Banners

The first weapon will feature the Signature Weapon of Yelan, the bow Aqua Simulacra and the 5-star polearm, Primordial Jade Winged-Spear

Second Phase Banners

The second phase banners will introduce a new character, the 4-star Kuki Shinobu, an Electro sword character that will become the highly expected Electro Healer.

Kuki Shinobu is a member of the Arataki Gang, she will be part of Arataki Itto rerun, as only banner of the second half.

Second Weapon Banner

With the return of Arataki Itto, the weapon banner of the second phase will have the first rerun of the 5-star claymore, Redhorn Stonethresher.

Genshin Impact's 2.7 Second Phase will start on June 22, 2022.

Genshin Impact 2.7 Events

Arataki Itto has decided to show the world that he can make a better celebration than the Irodori Festival and the Lantern Rite. We are not sure the festival will be great, but surely it will be fun.

The Archon Story continues with a new chapter in The Chasm. Yelan will be the leading character in this new storyline.

New Story Quest

Version 2.7 will bring back the hangout events; players will have the chance to learn more about the new 4-star character Kuki Shinobu.

Yelan's story quest, called: Umbrabilis Orchis Chapter I, will be related to the Archon Quest arc.

Perilous Trail

The main event of Genshin Impact 2.7 will be a Story/Combat Challenge event, similar somehow to Labyrinth Warriors. A New Archon Chapter combine with fighting action.

• In Perilous Trail the story will be related to the truth behind the disappearance of the Electro Yaksha Bosacius
• Xiao will play an important role in the story as the only witness of the story of the Yakshas.
• The domain will be in the underground of the Chasm, Kuki, Yanfei and Yelan will be part of the event.

• After completing one stage, the team party will need to change. Only one character can continue while the other three need to recover.
  • Travelers will need to make use of most of their roster of characters, although, the event will also provide Trial Characters.
• These are the Trial characters available for this even:
  • From Liyue: Keqing, Shenhe, Qiqi, Yelan, Yanfei, Xingqiu, Yunjin, Chongyun, Zhongli, Ningguang
  • From Inzauma: Raiden Shogun, Itto, Gorou, Kazuha, Sayu, K. Sara. Yae, Thoma
  • From Mondstadt: Jean, Sucrose, Diona
• The main reward will be the 4-star Bow Fading Twilight and the Refinement Material Glowing Gems.

Rewards: New 4-star Free Bow, Primogems, Weapon Ascension Materials, Mora, Character EXP material

The Almighty Arataki Great and Glorious Drumalong Festival

This event will bring a new music experience in Genshin Impact, we will see other characters trying Arataki Itto's instrument.

• Arataki Itto will celebration Kuki graduation from Law School by organizing a big musical celebration.
• In this event, Travelers will play songs along with popular characters from the game.
  • There are 7 stages with three different difficulties. Stages will be unlocked daily during the first week of the event.
    • First Stage: Time to Shine (Arataki Itto)
    • Second Stage: Drifter Destiny (Kazuha)
    • Third Stage: Devotion of the Keeper (Thoma)
    • Four Stage: Let's Go. Crimson Knight (Klee)
    • Fifth Stage: Rage Beneath the Mountains (Zhongli)
    • Sixth Stage: Blossoms of Summer Nights (Yoimiya)
    • Seventh Stage: Termination of Desires (Raiden Shogun)

• This music event will introduce a calibration option to make sure players in all platforms can have the best performance.
• The most interesting part is the Note Editor Mode in which players can create their own tunes to challenge other people.

Rewards: New Instrument: Arataki's Great and Glorious Drum, 420 Primogems, 420K Mora, and Ascension Materials.

Core of the Apparatus

After meeting a merchant from the hydro nation, Fontaine, the traveler will start a searching quest to collect materials to create toy robots.

• The event is centered on creating new types of Furniture for players' Serenitea Pot.
• Following the list of materials, players will create Furnishing Robots (test products).

• To collect all the types of Furnishing Robots, players will need to exchange them with other players.

Rewards: Furniture Blueprints, Primogems, Character EXP Materials, Weapon Ascension Material from Inazuma, Mora, and Mystic Ore

A Muddy Bizarre Adventure

The event will combine world exploration and combat challenges.

• With help of the Sumeru Scholar Hosseini, players will try to solve the problems caused by a Purple, Dangerous Mud growing in The Chasm.
• The event will bring back the Pursina's Spike mechanisms to clear the mud.

• The spike will also help to defeat the enemies affected by the substance.

Rewards: Primogems, Mora, Character EXP materials, Talent Books from Liyue.
